Hunter's is a modern, suburban pub offering high-quality food and beverages, coupled with exceptional service. Unique elements in an inviting and social atmosphere create a sense of neighbourhood ‘place’. Creating Hunter's Public House was a long-time vision of Chef Charles MacInnis and Amy MacInnis. With young children, finding a kid-friendly place to eat out where they could also enjoy some amazing food with a great pint was tough. Hunter's Public House is just that! Hunter's food menu features a blend of classics and fresh creations, highlighted by locally sourced ingredients. Hunter's beverage menu features an Ottawa Valley exclusive draft beer line-up and extensive can/bottle selection. Hunter's also showcases craft sodas sure to delight the young and the young at heart.     The food was fresh and tasty, the service was quite good but unfortunately there was a group of about 15 people dining celebrating and was way too loud for this small restaurant. So would love to return but would check if a big group reservation is on that night.

    Always amazing! Love being able to sit on the patio under the heating lamps well into the fall. Staff are always wonderful and food never fails.

    First time here. A new go to spot for drinks with the girls. You can tell the bartender and chef put heart into their work.

    Great waitress and the food was delicious! Had the candied bacon jalapeno grilled cheese , was a great choice for comfort food on a rainy day.

    The food is always pretty tasty. Never been disappointed by anything I have ordered. I feel it is a bit pricey but everything is these days. Our waiter Scott was great! Really liked him. Perfect balance of ensuring we were enjoying our meal and if we needed anything without being intrusive. He knew the menu and answered all our questions.

    If you would like to select a booth on the patio, I would suggest calling and not reserving online, the notes section seemed to get overlooked. Food was amazing!

    Randy, While I can accept a fair 1-star review, this feedback requires further context for others who may stumble upon it. Hunter's has been a family-focused, community restaurant since the day we opened. It is unfortunate that you did not read our reservation policy which indicated that your table of 3 had a 1.75 hour seating time, and that you chose to ignore the multiple reminders from our host, server and finally the manager on duty. In the end, the clear verbal assault and obscene hand gestures to our team members is completely unacceptable and not welcome in this establishment. Regards, Charles MacInnis Owner
