We are farmers and distillers, making Husk Rum and Ink Gin on our beautiful 150acre family farm.

Husk Rum is a rare style made from farm to bottle using the finest quality freshly crushed cane juice grown and bottled at Husk Farm.

Ink Gin is boldly unconventional, sparking conversation & making people take note. A true original, Ink brings colour & art to people through gin.

Visit Husk Farm Distillery to learn & discover our spirits, enjoy good drinks and food and relax and connect to this ancient land.

The Husk Distillery Bar & Planter’s Kitchen is open Wednesday-Sunday from 11am with a full cocktail and lunch menu available until 3pm on weekdays and 4pm on weekends (subject to change), and an all day menu available until the kitchen closes.

We are open Mondays & Tuesdays from 11am. Join us and enjoy small plates and grazing boards off our all day menu and have a full choice of tasting flights and cocktails.

We've been to Husk a few times for lunch and are usually impressed with the food, this time not so much.

the food was terrible the focaccia was stale the chicken dry the chips were coated in a very sweet seasoning served with whipped fetta (was supposed to be on side but was smothered all over chips) was unrecognisable as fetta was more like an aoli, entrees and mains arrived together within 10 minutes of sitting down (clearly pre cooked) on a table that was big enough for 2 people for dessert and coffee and it was expensive, wouldn’t have minded paying if the food was great but this wasn’t even edible. Don’t waste your time eating there grab your bottle of gin/rum and stop at McDonald's on the way home instead

It was a great experience. The whether was not the best, to no fault of venue. They tried their hardest to make us comfortable. Definitely will return. I do miss not being able to talk directly

We had a great time, the staff are all fantastic and made us very welcome, cocktails were amazing and we had the set menu which was also delicious.. but one small issue, not having wine or bubbles doesn’t make sense, you can only have enough cocktails and having a glass of wine with a great lunch would of been the cherry on top… Great opportunity to get a local wine maker..

We booked for 4 ppl for my birthday lunch and was given a small square table which would have allowed one coffee perperson, not a proper lunch. Service was terrible. Have to literally go hunt down a waiter, and then no more service after the food was served. You order through self service but the internet was bad so couldnt do that. Have to go queue and order like in the foodcourt! Beautiful place but not value for money for a proper dining experience. Table and chairs with no table cloth. Water was lukewarm and if you run out, you’ll need to go get yourself coz the waiters are too busy to even bother to come see if you need anything after your food is served. Pretty much food court service for restaurant prices.

Crocodile bites were so good!! We also loved the games of corn-hole and quoits that were free to play. We did the gin tasting and were so impressed with the berry ink gin that we just had to buy a bottle. If we’re down in the Tweed Valley again, we’ll be back!

Great cocktails in a wonderful venue, would go back again 😊 It’s not Husks issue but trying to get an Uber/taxi out of there was hard, we were lucky to grab one after it had dropped off its passengers, try to schedule one ahead of time if you’re not driving.

Fantastic venue with beautiful seated areas with different options. Picnic on the grass was perfect. The ease of using the QR code at your area was helpful as its then table service, everything we ordered as a group which was majority of the menu was beautiful and in good quantities. Would highly recommend Husk to anyone looking for a scenic spot, great for everyone, family friendly and definitely will return.

Been to husk several times now with visitors and have not been disappointed. Staff have great knowledge of products and are very friendly
