Great service, great drinks. Beautiful presentation. Colton is an excellent server. He was very friendly, knowledgeable, informative and precise. He was on top of everything from opening drinks through dessert. There were 5 of us ladies and he made sure we were all happy. We will be back and will ask for Colton.

Rebecca and I have been coming to Iavarone's for decades. It is still one of the best restaurants in Tampa. It never disappoints. Our server was outstanding!

First time actually sitting down for dinner here, we’ve been to a cocktail party upstairs in the past. The service was kinda poor IMO. Was never offered water at all the whole time. There were two servers covering our table, not once did either of them check on us or ask how our food was which took forever by the way. They basically brought the plates of what we ordered and walked away. The food itself was less than mediocre to say the least. FO soup had no flavor and barely any cheese which should be the highlight. Salad was just fine. I had the short rib ragu which was one of their specials for the evening. The meat looked like it had been sitting out for hours and could have used some seasoning. The pasta was absolutely terrible. No flavor whatsoever, sauce was so thin you could barely tell it was there. A microwave meal from the frozen food section would have been better. Wife had the grouper dinner and that was nothing to write home about either. No flavor yet again and Presentation was abysmal. Since we pretty much had no service we did not get dessert or after dinner drinks. Complete waste of money and kinda ruined our evening. We will 100% not be coming back.

Upstairs ambience could be better. If you’re serving large ice molds at bar they should also be available upstairs (or have the sever ask to confirm)

As LONG time customers its just not what it use to be. The salmon was dry. The veal parm was cold and not delicious and moist as it used to be. The waitress was aware. There was absolutely no substitutions and that was confusing as most all restaurants do that. It lacked an upbeat customer satisfaction attitude. Sadly that happens when places get very popular. It was lunch time and it wasn’t crowded yet it was so disappointing.
