Iconic is an American restaurant located inside the DoubleTree Hotel Utica at 102 Lafayette St in Utica, NY.

The restaurant and bar were completely renovated in 2017. The inspiring 1912 architecture was retained, but the ambiance is urban contemporary. The bar serves high quality artisan cocktails and a variety of wines and beers.

Our innovative menu contains local favorites and dishes that strive to become the new local favorites! Our culinary team varies the menu to reflect the seasons and current dining trends.

This is a beautiful restaurant in an historical Utica hotel. The food is outstanding with top notch service. Our waitress, Jackie, was very attentive and friendly. I would highly recommend this place!

Waited quite a while for drinks at the bar. At first there was no bartender. After waiting almost 10 minutes, she arrived. Food was good. Server was friendly.

The only issue was that they no longer serve bread before the meal. So it was disappointing because previously we got bread with marinara sauce for dipping.

Staff and food was wonderful for our first night as a married couple. However I am missing the Tuscan chicken from the menu. We come every year for our anniversary and was sad to see it go. Your wonderful staff was able to accommodate with something almost as good as the original. Looking forward to another night. And hope maybe that dish will return.

Missing the bread for the table!!!! Please consider bringing it back! Food was not as good as it has been in the past. Our server Erin was terrific and we always like to see Rachel! Not sure if we will dine here again, maybe just visit the bar…

The food overall was incredible. The burger, calamari and French onion soup were great. A little put off the water was not iced and they don't serve bread. Their version of Utica Greens with sausage was strange but decent. One of the better establishments in our area for sure.

A little lack luster...wait staff was courteous, attentive and charming. The french onion soup was lukewarm and topped with very hard bread. The pasta entree was delicious but also just warm. We were given a wonderful dessert to share which was the best part of the meal. Maybe it was an off night but we won't return.

The food is always good; it's too bad they took the bread and sauce away. It was my favorite reason to dine there. The servers are pleasant, but they appear to be understaffed sometimes. I made 2 reservations via Open Table this week and have not received the 100 points per visit yet.

Always a great meal at Iconic! We all had the chicken fran with risotto and spinach. Delicious! The drink special was very good also. I think it was called caramel apple slammer.
