   The restaurant is absolutely beautiful and the service was OK. The food however is the reason for the rating. We ordered the greens, the cheesy garlic bread, and the bang bang cauliflower for appetizers. The greens were not fresh and they were covered with about a half an inch of cheese on top that was not only overcooked but hard and cold as were the greens underneath. The cheesy garlic bread somehow managed to be both burnt and cold all at once as well as the sauce that it was served with was ice cold however, the bang bang cauliflower was outstanding, and it was actually kind of warm! Cauliflower was the winner! 10/10 on the cauliflower!!! Then we decided to split an entrée. We had their special which I don’t recall what they named it but it was a pounded out chicken breast that was so thin and so dry that you couldn’t cut it with a steak knife, covered in cheese and meat, which was on top of a undercooked fettuccine with peas and some kind of weird cheese sauce …I don’t know. It was disgusting. I won’t be going back. And I’ve given them multiple opportunities and once in a while, it’s OK but most of the time it’s been awful and it cost me $127 but to be fair that was with tip and another couple was with us and they each ordered their own entrées, but there was no alcohol. So it’s a no for me.

   The food was delicious. However, all of our meals were not really hot enough. The service was fantastic. The ambience was fantastic. It’s a beautiful place. Drinks are overpriced! Meals slightly overpriced for the amount of food you receive. Bread should be served on the table. You should not have to buy it.

   We had a fantastic waitress and the food is amazing, but we miss the garlic bread with sauce that used to be served

The bread and sauce are served with the Utica Greens starter and the Meatballs starter. It can also be purchased as a separate starter.

   This is a beautiful restaurant in an historical Utica hotel. The food is outstanding with top notch service. Our waitress, Jackie, was very attentive and friendly. I would highly recommend this place!

   Waited quite a while for drinks at the bar. At first there was no bartender. After waiting almost 10 minutes, she arrived. Food was good. Server was friendly.

I did go back to our camera footage after reading your review and saw that you were served drinks 6 minutes after walking up to the bar. The bartender was there but had monetarily stepped away to pick up a food order in the kitchen for a bar guest. Ideally, a food runner would have done that for her, but that person was also busy elsewhere. We apologize for the wait.

   The only issue was that they no longer serve bread before the meal. So it was disappointing because previously we got bread with marinara sauce for dipping.

   Staff and food was wonderful for our first night as a married couple. However I am missing the Tuscan chicken from the menu. We come every year for our anniversary and was sad to see it go. Your wonderful staff was able to accommodate with something almost as good as the original. Looking forward to another night. And hope maybe that dish will return.

    Missing the bread for the table!!!! Please consider bringing it back! Food was not as good as it has been in the past. Our server Erin was terrific and we always like to see Rachel! Not sure if we will dine here again, maybe just visit the bar…
