Ida Claire is a funky, southern influenced restaurant & bar open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The food is notched up southern but has influences from different regions. You’ll most likely see dishes you’ve heard of before but with little twists here and there.

Our sandwiches will be served on biscuits & we’ll have chicken & waffles on every menu. Brunch is obviously southern & will be a big part of what we do. The drinks are takes on classics like the Mint Julep but revved up & including a lot of house made ingredients.

Had dinner with good friends. This was our first visit but not theirs. The cocktails (Paloma, lemon drop, margs) were excellent. Decided on the biscuits and cauliflower for apps and they were great. Warning - cauliflower was a little spicy but good. Entrees were delicious. I personally had the monte Cristo. Not exactly what I was expecting but really good. The sweet potato fries were a little crunchy. Sea Bass was a little salty for my husband’s liking. Service was a little slow but we were ok with it because we were talking and having a good time. It’s not often that either couple gets a night out with no kids so we took advantage of the slow service. Our waiter was very accommodating but not too accommodating. We definitely want to go back and try brunch

We love Ida Claire! The food’s great and the drinks are fabulous. What will make the experience perfect is to bring back the delicious Ding Dong Cake.

The veggie quiche was good (bonus points for the buttery crust!) and the side salad featured a lovely fresh lettuce mix (and I subbed the green goddess dressing which I highly recommend...I even smeared some on my quiche to give it a needed boost of flavor!). My friend enjoyed her chicken and waffles but she was expecting a spicier kick from the Tabasco butter. Unfortunately our dessert choices were a bit of a letdown...I was really looking forward to finally trying the pull apart cinnamon roll but was sadly disappointed. While the warm toffee sauce was delicious and had the perfect level of sweetness, the cinnamon roll was quite dry, tough (most likely from overworked flour/dough) and lacked an adequate amount of cinnamon streusel filling. I thought I'd have a hard time not controlling myself from eating the entire thing but conversely, I was "done" after two bites. My friend had the seasonal cobbler and found the berries to be overly sugared which made for an overall cloyingly sweet taste. Our server was friendly and willing to accommodate special requests. Reservations are a must during peak dining hours!

This is one our favorite lunch/dinner spots , you can dress up or have a casual date night here. All food is fresh and made in house, like their signature biscuits!

Being New Year’s Day, the restaurant was very packed and had a waitlist for those without reservations. The food was decent, but nothing to write home about. We had wanted coffee, but all of the warm carafes were spoken for and were not able to enjoy coffee with brunch. All in all, it was fine.

Ida Claire was amazing. My husband went on New Year’s Eve to have a nice dinner. Our waitress Rachel was so amazing and attentive. The food was amazing and hot just how I like it. We will definitely be coming back.

Disappointing experience. Our server was friendly but overall service was incredibly slow. We waited over half an hour for our entrees - which did not come out at the same time! Our coffee and dessert took about 20 minutes. The quality of the food was good but several items we wanted were sold out or not available. We sat outside on the patio which was very nice. Overall not planning on returning
