   Seated quickly and waiter was very polite. Food was delicious and prepared properly. Waiter may have been new because he never offered us refills or a dessert menu. We had to ask for the menus and never received a refill option for our drinks. He was professional and polite but missed these key points.

   Not sure if the server was just over it. I’ve been to many expensive restaurants in California and here and have never received service this careless. Should’ve probably gone to the Crawford Chophouse or Chart House. We were not made any drink suggestions or food suggestions, were rushed to place our order, and were hardly checked on. When the food finally arrived. The steaks were amazing however, one of our side which was the lobster Mac and cheese was cold. Not the kind of experience expected on Valentines Day. My fiancé was so excited to take me especially knowing I love fine dining. Even Seasons 52 which is less expensive has way better service.

   The food was great, but I felt as though my server did not give her all to my husband and I. I heard her telling about the chefs specials to two other guest in close proximity to our table but she never told us or gave us that choice. Also at the end of dinner we expressed that we were ready to get pack up and she could bring us our check. She brought the boxes to the table. She boxed her food and placed it in a bag. She said that she will bring us our check. After that, we witnessed her box up another table right next to us ask them did they want dessert? They said that they didn’t. She then brought them their check and they left before us. I really didn’t like that, and it did bother me because I had stated prior to her boxing up their stuff that I was ready for the check so I waited another 20 or so minutes before she gave us our check. We promptly paid and I tipped cash and left.

   Fantastic location for a wonderful Valentines Day dinner! We ordered the American wagyu New York strips, mashed potatoes, and asparagus and all of the food was cooked to perfection. The wait staff is very attentive and are quick to fulfill orders. The Love Potion cocktail was delicious and they have a wide selection of bottled beer to enjoy. Thank you III Forks. We will be back soon for the A5!

   This was the 3rd time at III Forks. This was on Valentine’s Day but we were also celebrating my husband’s birthday as well. The food is always amazing (pricey but expected). Our service was also very good. Georgia was our server and was personable, on point and very attentive. The ambiance, however, was just lacking. We had a reservation for a couple of weeks at 5:45 (early enough to avoid crowds). We were stuck in the corner of a back room. My husband was facing a wall to look at. There were only two tops in this room with 4 walls. No candles, lights on table, etc. It was as if they opened a storage room, stuck a valentine’s pic on the wall and put the “couples” in there! I even overheard another server tell her table she always has to apologize when people get a table in there. For such an upscale restaurant they should bring in a contractor and open that room to the other rooms! If we go back I will specifically ask not to be put in the back room. Another thing that kind of disappointed us was the dessert. Each time we’ve gone we have ordered the cheesecake and the presentation was great. This time it came out very plain. We had to ask for the toppings which she did get and brought out separately. I’ve attached a pic of it from last year and last night. Also…they don’t acknowledge birthdays if you’re expecting that (we weren’t).

   Great experience was always at this restaurant. Staff is excellent, especially our server, Rachael. My wife and I highly recommend this restaurant when you’re in the Jax area.
