Located in the heart of Lexington Center, il Casale Cucina Campana + Bar is a restaurant from Chef Dante de Magistris and his brothers Damian de Magistris and Filippo de Magistris. il Casale Cucina Campana + Bar continues the story of il Casale Cucina Italiana that began in Belmont ten years ago, but is a tour around the Campania region of Italy where the de Magistris family hails from.

il Casale Cucina Campana features an open kitchen clad with imported hand painted tiles from Vietri, classic Italian country furnishings made from reclaimed barn wood, and rustic metal ambient lighting pendants. A vintage map of the Campania region fills a floor to ceiling wall that is at the end of an 16 seat Carrara marble bar. il Casale Cucina Campana + Bar celebrates the ties to family and the roots from which they come, and Chef Dante and his brothers Filippo and Damian welcome each and every guest as an extension of the de Magistris family.

The best drink was the Manhattan just thinking about it I want to go back and have another one 👍👍 Also the food was ok I go a steak with mushroom and my wife got pasta and she wasn’t crazy for it because the sauce on top was too tick and but we had a good time also the waitress was really pleasant and friendly. Thank you 🙏

Il Casale - Lexington is one of the few fine dining restaurants in Metrowest Boston. The food, primarily Italian in focus, is very good. The service is very good. However, when the restaurant is packed, it is difficult to navigate and is very noisy to try and hold a conversation.

Overpriced for good but not great food. There were of us for a causal night out. One otter of wine ; we all split an app and dessert. Each ordered entrees. Bill was $72 each with tip. Pretty steep for a casual night out.

Nice restaurant for a business dinner in alternative location. For out of town guests Lexington is a differentiated experience from cookie cutter dinners in Burlington or Waltham and pragmatically close by

Very pleasant layout so that you did not feel you were sitting with another party. Knowledgeable staff. Relaxing atmosphere. Warm welcome when entering and engaging when we were leaving.
