IL FARO means "The Lighthouse." We envisioned being just that: a beacon in the Albany neighborhood, a safe haven from the stresses of everyday life. Strength and serenity.     Wonderful owners, always welcoming and friendly! The food is delicious with a truly diverse menu. Wait staff is spot on always paying attention to your needs. Bottom line, Il Faro is a place that delivers a pleasant dining experience!

    Everything about our experience was amazing! Great, friendly service. The menu has something for everyone and the food exceeded our expectations. Get the fried mozzarella to start! Great vegetarian options. Super accommodating with an allergy in our party. We’ll be back!

    Delicious dinner - as always. Service was excellent not overbearing but there when needed. Owners are friendly and always make you feel very welcome. Highly recommend.

    Very enjoyable evening with friends. All drinks,appetizers and entrees were perfectly presented and delicious. So great to have a place that was quiet enough to have good conversations with friends.
