   It’s such a shame that oh Il Fornio has absolutely terrible food. We ordered an appetizer of grilled brussels sprouts and they were so overcooked and mushy. One of our pasta dishes was completely undercooked and it was like rubber. We had to send it back. Our dinner Andre was ravioli and that was cold. The wine we had was good and that was about it. We will never go to this restaurant ever again. Such a shame it could really be a great place to go if the food was good. It’s a perfect location and the ambience is very nice. They need to get a chef in there that knows what he’s doing.

   Our waitress was attentive and cheerful. I ordered the branzino and it was cooked to perfection! My husband enjoyed the short rib ravioli and our daughter had a chicken and pesto pasta dish. All dishes arrived hot - very important to me! Looking forward to returning soon.

   I drove 30 minutes to meet a friend halfway. Although the fireplace was lovely, our food was barely warm. My salad was barely edible- so bad they removed it from the bill. This restaurant has really gotten bad. Granted, my friend ordered soup and water to drink. But I feel like we were punished for it. Very disappointing. Sure am glad there are so many great Italian restaurants where I live, so I don’t have to drive out there again for that.

   It was my first time here at this location, I’ve been to the sacramento locations before and the food was great as always but the service absolutely sucked. I was sat with my girlfriend next to a party table and they diverted all of their attention to this one table. Our server took our order and I requested chicken on my pasta because she gave me the choice to but right as she asked that she gave me that look that people do when they’re looking at you but not listening to you, and of course my pasta arrived with no chicken and I said something about it and she definitely didn’t care. Just don’t eat at this location, eat at a different one.

   Great choice for a special night out. Food and service are always consistent and never disappoints. A staple in Walnut Creek for some time.

   Took 35 minutes to just get some waters, then we got asked if we wanted bread 3 times just to never get it until after our food arrived. We overheard other tables behind us having the same problems as us, water taking forever to get to them, food took over an hour to get served. Just really disappointing after reading some good reviews.

    We had an okay time but thought the food wasn’t as good as in the past and the restaurant itself was looking tired. Time for a remodel and some younger waiters.
