Worst ever. Pasta overcooked. Only flavor detectable was garlic. Seafood not fresh. And finished with “we have no coffee” and “we can’t offer you dessert because kitchen is closed”. As a compensation they offered a card for free dessert to be used next time. Left the card in the table. Not coming back even for a free meal. On top of everything. Expensive!

Il Mulino has consistently exceptional food, service, ambience, etc. I have been enjoying dining experiences here for a couple of decades - for special occasions and for no special occasion at all. Il Mulino is simply a great restaurant - you must go!

The food is excellent. We've been dining here for close to 30 years. The food is consistently great. The service is always solid. What's not so great is the pricing. As everything is going up, Il Mulino's pricing is becoming comical. The restaurant was fairly empty on a Thursday evening, and we've never had any trouble being seated quickly upon arriving the last several visits. We were charged $3 for an extra side of salad dressing. I would have to believe that the lack of business can only be caused by the exorbitant pricing. Hopefully, this changes soon as it would be a shame to see another terrific place go away.

We brought 3 friends who were visiting from out of town. Our wait person was friendly, attentive without being annoying and helpful. Our meals were all very tasty: We all started with salads: caprese, Caesar, mixed, then 2 eggplant Parma, a chicken francaise, chicken Marsala, and a pasta bolognese. Our waiperson recommended a very nice bottle of Cabarnet. All prepared well and plated nicely. And, all important, the noise level was just right that we were able to have a nice conversation. We’ll be back!

Mussels and clams with red sauce was excellent as well as linguine with clams with white sauce and veal parm!! Service was great!
