   I wanted to like this meal but it was underwhelming. My pasta was supposed to have wild mushroom, sausage with a wine cream sauce. No mushrooms to be found, like literally none, and no hint of wine in the sauce. Just some pasta with crumbled sausage (not even good sausage) and peas and a small amount of flavorless sauce. It was lackluster and bland. And not what was listed on the menu. Others at the table felt similarly. Won't be going back. Gave it another shot because I heard there were new owners. Nice ambiance but Im there for the food. 4/10

   Reservation was at 7:15, arrived at 7:00, wasn’t seated until 7:34. They were so packed. Have been here in the past & enjoyed all the food. This time was different. I guess I read somewhere that the place has a new owner or manager or something. The portions of the food wasn’t bad. For starters had the bread service, which the bread was fresh & warm & the grilled octopus that was served on top of cauliflower & it lacked seasoning & flavor & was chewy. There were three tentacles. It had some sauce at the bottom that helped with the chewy flavorless octopus. My favorite is usually the carbonara but this is the first time where I didn’t enjoy it as much & took it to go. The guanciale was lacking. I’m glad that I ordered the apple Gorgonzola gnocchi, which I enjoyed. It was simply delicious. The rigatoni was tasty & the lasagne was tasty. Was getting full & tired so ordered the cannoli to go & it was still good the next day. Service wasn’t the greatest since they were so busy, but staff were friendly. I would definitely try to eat here again, just not anytime soon & maybe not on such a busy night.

   It was our first time there. It was a wonderful experience. The wine list is small but an all star list. Unique and fun appetizers. The Beet and orange salad was amazing, as was My main dish, a gnocchi with sausage in pesto sauce. My mother's main dish, the saffron seafood pasta was to die for. All staff were very attentive especially our server Christian. Can't wait to go again:)

   The food was amazing, the spaghetti carbonara was delicious and the gnocchi apple gorgonzola was amazing. It was a bit cold inside and the menu dessert was short of options. Although I highly recommend to have dinner here.

   Definitely worth the price. Ordered the Italian meatballs which had the most outstanding sauce ever! The rigatoni was also very good. Service took a while, but they were quite busy and they offered us free bread to make up for it.

   Everything was perfect. I cannot recommend this spot enough!! The waiter was so friendly and gave us as much time as we needed to look at the menu as well as being attentive when we had questions or ready to order! The decor is beautiful. Everything is priced perfectly. I cannot wait to come back.

   Service was terrible. Waited a very long time for our server to just come to our table to take our order. Food took over an hour to come. Food was just ok, good portions though. Was looking forward to it but won't be coming back.

   We were disappointed given the reviews and ratings. The octopus was bland and chewy. The butternut squash ravioli came with a watery broth - It lacked flavor, texture and would have benefited from the butter the menu referenced. The tempura artichoke was also bland and season-less. Only the mayo dip had flavor. Bottom line and regrettably…. quantity vs quality.

    Great Food and Great Service is what you will find at Il Vechio! It has been my "go to" place for years as it has never disappointed me!
