    I don’t think it’s necessary to call people to confirm their reservations. When it’s their reservation time, they will show up or not. After the grace period, you can call it as a no show and offer the spot to someone else. It’s not necessary to call ahead of time.

    The food is consistently delicious and the wait staff responsive. The tables in the dining room furthest back are a bit close together and unfortunately a group of 4 next to us was very loud and distracting, which was unfortunate. We will continue to rave about the food, but the 'noisy neighbors ' this evening was disappointing.

    The restaurant was very accommodating with me pre-ordering food via reservation due to my time constraints in the city. However, the warak enab cocotte was one of the saltiest dishes I’ve ever been served. I am familiar with this dish and am extremely aware that most places rinse their grape leaves before wrapping the rice because oftentimes, grape leaves are packaged in brine. I genuinely think they did not rinse the leaves nor did they check for seasoning because there’s no way they would’ve served that dish if they had. The lamb was also incredibly salty. The yogurt sauce was a welcome addition as it made a half-hearted attempt to cut the saltiness of the dish. I did not finish my meal. I was so excited to see warak enab on a menu because most places that serve stuffed grape leaves serve them cold while I grew up eating it warm. This meal was disappointing. The waitstaff, however was excellent and very attentive. All in all, I cannot in good faith recommend this restaurant.

    Ilili was a fantastic discovery! I usually don’t go to Lebanese restaurants since I cook Lebanese food at home, but I wanted to introduce my friends to the cuisine, and it was a great success. We loved every dish we ordered, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. I’ll definitely be back!
