    We decided to go to the ilili Lebanese restaurant for our wedding anniversary while we were in NYC The food was excellent, and the service was outstanding. Our waiter Matthew did an outstanding job taking care of us. We will for sure come back for another great experience in our next visit to the big apple

    I don’t think it’s necessary to call people to confirm their reservations. When it’s their reservation time, they will show up or not. After the grace period, you can call it as a no show and offer the spot to someone else. It’s not necessary to call ahead of time.

    I don't even know what to say. The food was incredible - we had mouhamara, beef fried kibbeh, kibbeh naye, grilled octopus, the lamb shank for two (which was more than enough food), and knafe bil jibneh - as were the wine and drink selections. Don't sleep on the Lebanese pickleback! Service was lovely and balanced - not hovering and overly checking in so we didn't feel rushed, but could get a hold of our person easily.

    The food is consistently delicious and the wait staff responsive. The tables in the dining room furthest back are a bit close together and unfortunately a group of 4 next to us was very loud and distracting, which was unfortunate. We will continue to rave about the food, but the 'noisy neighbors ' this evening was disappointing.
