   Literally worst restaurant we ate at in Tulum, spent 5000 and was their best customer and my friend got on the table and they kicked us out. Literally would never come here

   Unfortunately once you book a table they charge 6,000 pesos to your credit card weather you show or not and once you arrive at the place they tell you that you only have 2 hours sitting time! In our case once the sitting time was over and some guests were waiting outside they basically forced us to pay and like threw us out of the restaurant! We had booked a table to celebrate my wife’s birthday - we were 4 adults (me, my wife and my parents > 75 years old) and our 2 young kids. The way they ended our stay was totally unacceptable and only showed a complete lack of culture and education from their management team. The waiters and their service has been very nice however they couldn’t do anything about the restaurants stupid rule of 2 hours sitting time. Very disappointing and very overpriced food. Not going there again anymore !

   Elegimos Ilios Tulum para celebrar un cumpleaños, pero la experiencia fue pésima. Al sentarnos, comenzamos a leer el menú y platicar, cuando la mesera, Yazmin, nos apresuró para ordenar. Nos informó que la reserva era solo por 1 hora y 45 minutos, algo que ni en OpenTable, ni en la página de Ilios, ni las anfitrionas al recibirnos nos habían dicho. Desde ese momento, nos sentimos presionados. Queríamos disfrutar de una comida relajada, pero en lugar de eso, nos instaban a ordenar y comer rápido. Pedimos una pasta y cócteles, pero Yazmin volvió a insistir sobre qué más íbamos a pedir debido al tiempo. Intentamos pedir un cordero para compartir, pero varios platillos del menú y cócteles no estaban disponibles. Además, el puré de papa que pedimos como acompañante estaba casi crudo, con la papa dura, por lo que tuvimos que devolverlo. Cuando ya estábamos terminando el plato principal y a punto de pedir el postre, Yazmin volvió a apresurarnos para que dejáramos la mesa, argumentando que ya se había agotado el tiempo. Incluso sugirió que nos moviéramos a la barra para terminar de comer, a lo que nos negamos, primero porque me pareció una grosería y especialmente porque había varias mesas vacías. La gerente intervino al final y nos preguntó qué necesitábamos. Le pedí que nos dejara terminar tranquilos sin más interrupciones. Le expliqué que habíamos elegido este lugar con altas expectativas, pero claramente la experiencia no fue lo que esperábamos. Para colmo, al pagar, Yazmin exigió un mínimo del 15% de propina. Le dije que solo dejaría el 10%, y visiblemente molesta, comenzó a discutir. A pesar de mi insistencia, rechazó la propina con una actitud grosera. No tengo problema con pagar la propina, pero exigir un porcentaje mínimo es ilegal, y más cuando el servicio y la calidad de los alimentos no lo justifican. No volveré ni lo recomendaría. Me siento completamente decepcionada.

   Fernando was our server and was a pleasure super nice and friendly. Food was delicious and loved they fire show after dinner overall had such a great time and Fernando brought my out cake and sang to me for my birthday!! Thank you for making my birthday dinner! Would definitely recommend and come back!
