Our family has gluten and dairy allergies which make Thai/Indonesian restaurants one of our favorite cuisines. Because of this, we have been to well over 100 different restaurants with similar menus and INDO is in the top 5% of them all. Amazing variety, fantastic flavors, exceptional service, inviting and relaxing atmosphere. Highly recommend!

Lets start by stating that this is NOT an Indonesian restaurant. The Satay came with peanut sauce ON it not on the side. The Poh Piah was dry. The Basil Chicken was horrible and tasteless. The chicken they used tasted old and rubbery. Indonesian fried rice was worse than that of Panda.The best dish was the Black pepper prawns. Reposato and soda water was $24 each!!!! Service was dead but efficient. Date night with my wife. Thank goodness she's gorgeous with amazing eyes. Otherwise I would have walked out. Will never be back

A group of us recently dined at Indo Restaurant in Palo Alto, and I can’t recommend it highly enough! From the moment I walked in, Pam, who was incredibly friendly and accommodating, greeted me with warmth. The servers were just as welcoming, always ready with a smile and helpful suggestions. The food—every dish we ordered was simply delicious! Each plate was a delightful explosion of flavors. Indo is also a fantastic spot for groups, perfect for sharing plates and enjoying good company. If you’re looking for a place to gather with friends or family, this is it. Indo Restaurant is a gem in Palo Alto, and I can’t wait to return. I highly recommend it!
