   Our 2nd visit for breakfast to this lovely restaurant. Interesting menu & quality ingredients. Really good service. We were celebrating my birthday today & I mentioned this on the booking but it wasn’t acknowledged. Not a big issue but would have been nice to be mentioned

   Hackney Wick is still developing, parts of it are raw and it can feel like work in progress, but into this gritty landscape of graffiti, towpaths and nightclubs something wonderful has arrived. Inis is an exciting local restaurant that regularly hosts special events and tasting experiences, all with a modern Irish flavour. The warmth of the welcome, the casual dining ambiance (great views over the canal), and the service, which is enthusiastic and attentive, all combine to impress. Michele and Lindsey took time to chat to me as I arrived for an early Sunday breakfast. I was quickly seduced by the ‘special’ menu option of colcannon farls topped with flakes of hot smoked salmon and a perfect soft boiled egg, all smothered in a delicate, Bushmills whiskey-flavoured hollandaise sauce. As a treat it was hard to beat, deliciously decadent, but at the same time comforting, well balanced and extremely tasty; all the ingredients are thoughtfully sourced and carefully prepared. As the restaurant filled, the quiet calm built to a lively buzz. It was heart-warming to see so many young families and local couples enjoying such a convivial dining experience. Despite being busy, the serving staff did not miss a beat, a second cup of perfectly produced coffee arrived just as promptly as the first. I am not ashamed to admit I lingered over that second brew, reluctant to leave the warmth and good cheer of this lovely establishment. To have a venue of this quality in our rapidly evolving local neighbourhood is surely a wonderful Irish blessing.

   Lovely brunch with friends, 2 kids and a dog! The French toast is next level and the kids had a portion made up for the to share which was very helpful during a busy service. The full Irish is on my list to try and I'm very keen to come back for a Sunday roast! I've been for a weekday lunch and knew I had to come back. Thank you for your wonderful hospitality Inis team!

   Outstanding food. The brioche toast is one of the best dishes I've had in years. The ingredients across all of the things we ordered for breakfast was excellent and overall this is the best breakfast I've had in London. Service excellent, stunning decor and atmosphere. This will be the first of many visits. Can't wait to try the other menus. Go here!

   Excellent restaurant, attentive friendly staff and very high quality food. The dishes were inventive and delicious. Try the martini!

   All you want from a restaurant: great food, super friendly service, very nice space and good atmosphere. Not expensive either
