Chef John LaPosta has had a long and exciting career path which has landed him in the restaurant of his dreams. Along with his partner, Tina Kruger, he has created a wonderful American Gastropub full of great energy, fine hospitality, and of course, outstanding food.

It is his passion for excellence, beaming hospitality and tireless work that have been the hallmarks of John's 30+ years as one of the Capital Region’s most popular chefs. He is known for his outstanding food that he serves to "real" people in a fun and unassuming style. His simple philosophy has always been "put the love on plate." We had a wonderful time and our waitress was wonderful. Music was a little load for me but we could at least have a conversation at our table.

We went for to dinner for Taco Tuesday. I had been previously and had shrimp tacos. This time it was cod tacos. They tasted like frozen breaded fish sticks. The margarita pitcher hardly had any liquor in it. I will not be going again on Taco Tuesday.

My friend and I had such a great experience at Innovo, from the staff, food and drinks. Very cozy spot with delicious food, highly recommend. They care about the experience of the guests and are very kind.

Intention was dinner before the theatre and it worked out perfectly. One of our group was gluten free and the menu worked for them as well. Good food, good company and it met our timeline to get to the theatre.

We love Innovo Kitchen. We ate out on the patio with toasty heaters and great fire on the hearth. Enjoyed Friday specials of fried fish, chips ; coleslaw and a lobster roll with coleslaw and pickle. Service was very warm And attentive. Good delicious! Always love the flat bread and bean spread served immediately and chocolate bark at end.
