Chef John LaPosta has had a long and exciting career path which has landed him in the restaurant of his dreams. Along with his partner, Tina Kruger, he has created a wonderful American Gastropub full of great energy, fine hospitality, and of course, outstanding food.

It is his passion for excellence, beaming hospitality and tireless work that have been the hallmarks of John's 30+ years as one of the Capital Region’s most popular chefs. He is known for his outstanding food that he serves to "real" people in a fun and unassuming style. His simple philosophy has always been "put the love on plate." In doing this, people feel comfortable when reading his menus and do not feel as if they need to be a chef themselves to understand it. We love Innovo Kitchen. We ate out on the patio with toasty heaters and great fire on the hearth. Enjoyed Friday specials of fried fish, chips ; coleslaw and a lobster roll with coleslaw and pickle. Service was very warm And attentive. Good delicious! Always love the flat bread and bean spread served immediately and chocolate bark at end.

Beef tacos were so spicy our business guest could not eat them. Fish tacos had tiny pieces of fried fish and very disappointed. The Lasagna was a bowl of noodles, the Salmon sat on a bland cream sauce. Mushroom Strogonoff and Short Ribs were very good. Such a shame as were remembered how great the food used to be when our business guests visited a few years ago.

Cierra our server remembered us from last time. She knew which wine we liked and was very attentive. Our favorites are the pork buns and the Monday night burgers. Innovo Kitchen has the best onion rings.

Always a good experience at Innovo! Were treated well, good cocktails, a great mix of foods to choose from, and all dishes are excellent! Highly recommend!
