Just as in Italy where the food is genuine and locally sourced, you'll find the same at Intero with farm-to-table Italian cuisine. At its core, the concept behind Italian cooking stems from necessity and gratitude for regionally available ingredients. Intero, translating to “whole’’ in Italian, embraces this concept utilizing local ingredients from their entirety, paired with traditional Italian techniques and cooking sensibilities. This naturally sustainable approach allows for innovative, yet familiar dishes that highlight the seasonal availability of what’s grown and raised in Texas.

Additionally, Intero provides an authentic nod to the sweet side of Italy offering specialty house-made artisan chocolates (including truffles, barks, and sipping chocolate) along with other traditional Italian desserts in classic, seasonal and unique flavors.

The best northern Italian food in tevas. Gnocchi are pillows of air. Gravy like grandma makes from Jersey. Pizza the way it should be outside of NJ/NY. I’m taking all my family here when they come from out of town

Our friends Adam and Erin recommended Intero and we could not be happier with the overall experience! The food, service and ambience was exceptional! I called it the 4th secret Michelin Star of Austin! It felt like we got to create a core memory there celebrating our good friend, Erin’s birthday, and that is priceless. Thanks to everyone at Intero for making it so special.

Great spot, especially for a date! Food and cocktails were really good. Service was wonderful. This jumped in to my top 5 in Austin. Will definitely be back.

Intero has exceptional, seasonal dishes at reasonable (but still Austin) prices. Their service is attentive and kind without being intrusive. Chandler and Sam made us feel welcome and like they were actively glad we were there. The on-site chocolatier is such a fun, unique little add to the evening. We’ll be back for our next special occasion.
