   Esperaba mucho más, el servicio muy limitado, de hecho quien nos atendió inicialmente ni conocía a detalle los platos. Los tiempos de cocina extremadamente altos. El sabor no compensó lo anterior, nada memorable.

   Chefs tasting menu was a wonderful experience especially sitting up at the bar for it! Service was great throughout as well!

   We where utterly disappointed. We ordered the chef’s special and where asking for corresponding wine. There was no wine list. After a long wait a staff member came to present the wine they can offer. She was very friendly, but clearly had no understanding about wine pairing. 2 of the 3 starters where tasty, the dessert was fine too. Overall we „where dragging ourselves from course to course“, the atmosphere was sad. The chef whose specials we had ordered, left the open kitchen once to greet some friends. We where not even looked at, nor greeted. The invoice was horrendous, the food average, the wine recommendations (and selection) not suitable for the food offered.

   We thought that our lunch at Intimo was possibly the best meal of our lives! We ordered four dishes and the two of us split them. We had the tomatoes cooked on embers with fried green plantains, octopus Gaucho rice in coconut milk, black curry bass in creamy garlic sauce, and buttered grouper fish with cashews - all of them were excellent! I especially liked the ocotopus Gaucho rice with coconut milk and Caribbean sofrito. The octopus was the most tender I have ever had and incredibly delicious with the crunchy rice and coconut milk. The tomatoes cooked on embers were perfectly charbroiled and the crispy plantains on the side were the perfect compliment to the dish. If I lived in Panama City, I would go back here every week!

   Íntimo es eso, un lugar íntimo para ir en pareja o en plan íntimo. Poder ver la cocina en acción, mientras te tomas tu fav drink es hermoso. Pedimos burrata con sus pifias, tartar de res grass fed, guachito de pulpo y el mero. A mi hermano le dieron su "cortadito" al final de cortesía. La pasamos muy bien!

   What a gem. We ordered the chef’s dinner and it was fantastic.Started with a rum and cinnamon cocktails and then paired with wines. Our first time but certainly not the last. Love the concept and recommend if you are only 2 in your party to sit at the bar and watch the action.
