   When we arrived, it took 10 minutes for someone to acknowledge us and have us seated. We usually order their signature jerk chicken (only reason we go there) and were told that the only way to get that dish was to order their bottomless brunch at $65/person. They could have made an exception since the place was dead. Thoroughly disappointed!

   Unfortunately I didn't have a good experience at this restaurant’s bottomless brunch. While the concept sounds great, the portion sizes are far too large for a bottomless format — it would make much more sense to serve smaller, shared portions to avoid unnecessary food waste. Appetizers were the highlight — the tacos were tasty, though the excessive garnish felt unnecessary. However, the Irene roll was too large to fit in one bite, making it awkward to eat. The main courses were all very disappointing. Portion sizes were overwhelming, with excessive garnish again. For a brunch catering to spice lovers, the spice level wasn’t handled well — it was out of balance. The eggs Benedict were overcooked with hard yolks, the sunny-side-up eggs were burnt, and the ham was extremely dry. The salmon dish was topped with an unpleasant mayo-based sauce that completely overpowered the fish. Desserts were average — the chocolate cake lacked the whipped cream as described on the menu, and the Baked Alaska had a stale freezer taste. On the positive side, the staff were friendly, but despite my complaints, nothing was done to address the issues — no compensation, which was disappointing given the overall poor experience. The wine selection was good, but the cocktails were weak and underwhelming. Overall, this brunch isn’t worth the price — I wouldn’t recommend it if you’re looking for quality food and attentive service.

   Celebrating a friend's birthday. We shared a few appetizers and had the baked Alaska (can't remember when I last had that!) Very attentive and friendly server. Fabulous location and we had a seat by the window - great view.

   A friendly place to dine for any occasion, friends, or family gathering. Yesterday Lisa (a but unsure) came to our table with her Valentines' pink camera and dress. Her instant photo of us made our dining more fun and memorable. A big round of applause!

   Glen and Priscilla looked after me and my family brilliantly. Would highly recommend them. We had a two week trip in Canada, and this restaurant also had the best dry martini we tried. Good food and good value as well, right next to the lake. Thanks to Glen and Priscilla for a lovely evening!

   The fish and chips were awful. The drinks and ambiance were amazing. The restaurant didn’t charge me for the fish and chips so am thankful. Good place for drinks and social.

   We’d been before & service and food was great so decided to return & have an early (8:30 PM) NYE dinner there. Enormous regret! Our server, Courtney, was wonderful & the cocktails were alright, however, with the sushi being an exception, the other items were EXTREMELY BLAND! I mean, BLANDDDDDD, like NO seasoning at all! The short rib mac & cheese literally had no flavour whatsoever, in fact, I left the entire thing! The karaage chicken… bland bland bland. We had some just because we were hungry 😏. The sushi was good though & it’s pretty much all I ate at Irene for my NYE dinner. Needless to say we certainly won’t be going back.

   Great service and food- we enjoyed salads (Irene, K-chicken), sandwiches and appetizer Korean chicken lettuce cups. Server was friendly and attentive to dietary concerns and requests.

   The portion of food was really correct, but the chicken of the fried chicken sandwich I ate has a weird taste, it was not good at all and some fried parts was filled with oil.

    Had hair in the burger but that’s not even the worst part cause I get that mistakes happen and the other server rectified the situation. My whole table ordered food during happy hour and ended up getting charged the full price. A few of us paid before noticing the mistake before one of my friends pointed it out to the server. He refused to give us the refund for the difference, which was a substantial amount for me because I ended up paying for two of my friends bills for their birthday. In return he said he could give us extra food to try and compensate but it’s totally unfair to be charged extra in the first place without a refund. I had already had enough food for the night and just wanted to be charged the proper amount. Would not come again.
