Iron Bar is a restaurant and bar situated right in the heart of New York City. While many restaurants claim to be "in the middle" of the city, Iron Bar is located just one block off of Times Square, the busiest place and in the center of the shopping and nightlife scenes. Even if guests just step in to get a drink, they won't be disappointed. Iron Bar has over 45 beers on tap and another 45 available in the bottle.To eat at Iron Bar, diners have two choices. If not feeling particularly hungry, guests can simply order some dishes off of the appetizer menu like crispy chicken wings, General Tso's calamari or Kobe beef sliders. However, if wanting to do a full meal guests will need to plan ahead and bring a minimum of 20 people. Iron Bar has pre-set pizza and barbecue menus for large parties.

We made a 7:30pm reservation and when we got there we were told they couldn't honor it and we would have to wait for a table with everyone else...WE LEFT AND WILL NEVER GO BACK

Super fun place to watch the Buckeyes play! Love the atmosphere and the staff is super friendly. Food was good and also affordable. This was our second visit to NYC and 2nd visit to Iron Bar!

OpenTable took us to the wrong address and an hour out of our way. We got to the Iron Bar very late from our reserved time, they still sat us. I explained what had gone wrong and showed them the address that Open Table had sent us (and added to our calendars). I told them I knew no one working there (servers, chefs, etc) was responsible for the error but that someone needed to be informed. They were all very gracious and even gave us a free round for our troubles.

I have been to this multiple times, and it never misses. It was great service, great drinks, and food. The vibe was on a 100!

Thank you to Sam for being our server in both our sections and making sure we had water, food orders quick. We were celebrating a graduation and even left to try a new spot and came right back because we loved the ambiance and music more!

Iron Bar is one of our go-to options when dining before a show. Typically they are not very busy before the dinner rush (starting around 6pm) so if you reserve early, tables are usually available. The food is nicely prepared, visually appealing and delicious! They also have a good selection of beers and cocktails. There are multiple TVs over the bar and good views of them from most tables in the front of the restaurant. It can be a little loud between the music and the conversation, especially when it gets busy, but that is part of the atmosphere and we did not have an issue with it.
