Isa is, BY FAR, the absolutely best deal in SF Restaurant!! I have never found another option with the quality and number of choices for the price, so this is the only place I go during restaurant week. For example, my meal last night: 1) delicious, intense lobster broth(more like a bisque) with several shrimp; 2) dungeness crab salad with lettuce and apple; 4) duck breast with sauteed apple and greens; 4) amaretto semifreddi. How much did those 4 delicious courses (substantial in size) cost? $65.99!! If you miss this deal in Restaurant Week - go anyway! You can get the same items on their a la carte menu, and they have a smaller prix fixe option on weekdays. Highest recommendation!

We’ve been celebrating special occasions at Isa for over 15 years. The food is consistently excellent and we have several favorite dishes we always order including the yellowfin tuna appetizer and the scallops entree. Service is great. The food come out fast and it’s nice and hot. Waitstaff and Host very friendly and helpful.

I dined on the restaurant week menu which is their original menu aligned to fit into categories. I had the lobster stock soup and it was delicious and bisque like. The goat cheese appetizer was simple and good. The lamb was the show stopper. I will be back for more of those. The crème brûlée was creamy with a perfect crunchy top.

We came during SF Restaurant Week. Our server Tik guided us through choosing our selections with the prix fixe since my friend and I were planning to share. Tik and others were very attentive to changing plates and settings between each course. Nothing felt rushed. Everything we ordered came out perfectly and delightfully cooked. At the end, as we were leaving the other server and I shared stories and memories when it was run by the original owners and yet over the years the new owners have maintained the quality

Brought partner and family over to try out Isa after haven’t been for a few years since Covid. We listed on reservation that going to do Restaurant Week and off the menu of kids. When we got there, place was barely anyone there. The front table said either everyone order from menu or everyone have to go with Restaurant Week prix menu. I think it’s a scam forcing people to order only from prix menu especially not listed anywhere in their policy or rule. Turned out the food was just ok, no depth in flavor and the portion has gone south. Having paid $430 for dinner, I came home feeling hungry on a 4 course meal. I don’t think their food is worth $100 per head. Sorry but won’t be coming back to this spot. Maybe owners change or just management trying to squeeze as much. This spot used to be a cool, cozy and welcoming place that’s no longer.

Hello Mus, Thank you for participating in SFRW. The main reason for us to participate in SFRW for over ~20 years is to showcase our dishes at much discounted price of $65 to maximize guest participation so rest of the year when they crave about the dishes they enjoyed during SFRW, to come back to Isa. SFRW menu is not to make money rather for marketing our dishes. Same dishes would cost over $100+ (regular A La Carte menu).In past we only served SFRW menu but since last year added this flexibility of regular menu along with SFRW menu & never had a single complaint. Isa is known for 25+ years offering delicious French dishes at lowest price in SF. We provide quality & value to our valued guests. I look forward to the pleasure of having you as our guest in the near future

I hosted two group dinners at Isa this week! Both were excellent. Wait staff in both cases was both charismatic when appropriate, and efficiently assassination invisible rest of time. Service more generally is superb. Food is exquisite, organic, and flavorful! My complements to the chef!
