Aloha and welcome to the Island Fresh Cafe.
Open daily for Breakfast and Lunch 7am - 2pm.
Sushi and Poke by Chef Seto is Saturday - Sunday and Tuesday - Thursday 11am - 6pm.
Enjoy a variety of options including Eggs Benedicts, Banana Bread French Toast, Loco Moco, Pancakes, Omelettes, Acai Bowls and Smoothies, fresh drinking coconuts and so much more. Lunch features Hawaiian plate lunches, fish sandwiches and burgers, seafood tacos, and more.

You can choose seating from our island-style outdoor seating or indoor seating. Located at the historic old Paia train station!

We looked forward to trying this cafe (especially because our friends are vegan/vegetarian), but when we arrived they were closed. Note to owners that it’s ok to shut down your Open Table listing when you’re closed for the day. Maybe we’ll try again on our next visit. The medium review is to warn others, but be fair to the restaurant.

Picked up the car and went straight there for a great lunch. Excellent cheeseburger that energized me for Maui. Wisely snagged some banana bread to go

If you can't find joy dining in this open-air cafe, there are bigger problems. This beautiful, sunny courtyard just puts a smile on your face. Surrounded by pretty flowers, trees and a light breeze...it is quintessential "Hawaii" at its best. The food was good. Fresh ingredients, made to order. I had the banana bread french toast. It was outstanding. My guests had everything from an omelet to the breakfast wrap. All of it was good. The service left very little to be desired. Food from other tables was being brough to our table, drinks took a very long time, waitstaff seemed preoccupied and confused. We received food at our table several times that wasn't ours. No big deal, it got rerouted just fine...but it all seemed a little clunky. And when you would try to solicit some assistance, it fell on deaf ears. Does the medicore service kick this location out of contention for further breakfast visits? Absolutely not. Go enjoy this beautiful little spot...just bring a little more patience than you usually do.

The food was amazing!!! We have been here 5 days and this is the best food we have had!! The pork hash bowl was amazing as well as the banana French toast!!

Nice location with ample parking. Delicious food—didn’t look like it would be enough but it was very filling and tasty! I had the Florentine Benedict and the eggs were perfect. My friend had the Seared Ahi Benedict which looked yummy. Son had a heaping bowl of loco moco, and hubby had the pork and hash. Everyone was pleased! The ambience was great—on an outdoor patio. Cool and on the quiet side. Paradise!

Outstanding selection and flavor. Loved the açaí bowl and the pork sandwich. My 16yr old asked to return here on the last day.

Beautiful Mothers Day lunch here! Didn’t want the busy hustle and bustle of the bigger places. This was so relaxing and perfect.. single guitar player who was soft and played great music, really enjoyed him! The food was soooo good! Daughter had Matcha Açaí bowl - YUM! husband had the plate lunch, soo much flavor! I had the banana bread French toast- it was really good! Just wish the portion was a little more for the price. We will definitely go back!
