    LOVED the eggplant / lamb, flatbread and most of the dishes. (expected more from the salad), I would absolutely go back w/ max, 6 people and try to sit outside. Very cool vibe with movie playing on the white wall, but the acoustics were pretty tough - for our table of 12. REALLY loved the menu and the breakdown of which farms the produce comes from etc.

    Had a great dinner last Saturday at Istanbul Hawaii. Made a reservation for 5pm and got a table inside the beautiful restaurant with very incredible decoration. The waitress Victoria was very sweet and attentive and the food came out quickly and delicious. We had ribeye shish, Zatar frites, and the most delicious dessert in the world, Hatay Kunefe! Can't wait to come back!

    Loved everything about our dining experience at Istanbul. The food was phenomenal!! The ambience was great and the service was excellent. Our server was very attentive to our needs. We love this place and definitely plan to come back.

    The owners have a nice story but overall they sacrificed quality and service for aesthetic here, and the aesthetic isn’t even something super amazing to talk about. We had to find our server after we were seated and nobody came for over 10 minutes, and the food was subpar, and with a menu as large as theirs it should have been obvious there was a lack of freshness. Some of the staples of Turkish cuisine is the breakfast and tea - the tea was nowhere near the quality I would have expected based on experience at other Turkish restaurants, in fact it felt old as if they just heated it up in the microwave. They also didn’t have a standard encompassing, family style Turkish breakfast option which would make more sense. The food we got, again was lackluster, and they tried too hard with aesthetic of the dishes rather than quality.

    Great food and great atmosphere. Table was quite small outside and could barely fit the popular platter. Otherwise everything else about this place was great. Would come again!

    First couple experiences here were great but when it came to our family’s third and fourth times here the level of the entrees and desserts have gone down quite a bit unfortunately. We prob won’t be back here for anymore special occasions. Customer service is great. The quality of the food is becoming sub par at best. Sorry Istanbul started strong and fizzling out:(
