Italian by Night is an urban Italian restaurant and bar with a cuisine focused on old world techniques in a modern kitchen.

A romantic Italian restaurant in Uptown Saint John with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The decor is a mix of rustic exposed brick and wood beams, as well as elegant touches like linen tablecloths, fresh flowers and candles on the tables.

The menu offers a wide variety of Italian dishes, ranging from classic favorites like pizza and pasta to more upscale options like seafood, steaks, and excellent wine list. We use fresh ingredients, with a focus on high-quality flavors and presentation.

We offer corporate and wedding buyouts in a gorgeous venue with ample seating and layout, excellent food, attentive service, and a memorable atmosphere that is perfect for any special occasion. A personalized menu and experience will reflect your unique tastes and preferences.

We offer a private dining room for smaller groups.

    We are happy to work with our clients for both small or large private events at Italian by NIght. We offer restaurant 'buy-out' packages as well as smaller group event menus. Our beautiful open space concept can host up to 183 guests in a stand-up cocktail reception format or 120 guests for a seated dining experience. Hosting corporate, wedding or family events is our expertise. We welcome all inquiries.

    Exceptional dinner with zero complaints. Scampi was perfect!!! followed by the Salmon which was again done to perfection... Could not miss desert even though stuffed, Crème Brûlée was to die for. Server made it all come together perfectly.... Highly recommend for any occasion or just because you deserve it!

    Great experience with our server. As always, IBN has the best wine list in town. Tried a Corvina on its own for the first time and it was great.

    I was pleasantly surprised to be able to get a table at this very trendy uptown spot recently while in Saint John for the weekend. The vibe is causal but not so casual you wouldn’t enjoy a celebration there, the design is airy and open, yet our table felt private. The server was better than average . We shared the root salad and it was one of the best examples I have ever had; the candied orange peel on top notched it up above the usual . Pizzas were what you would expect now, thin chewy crust baked in a wood fired oven. Really good, but almost expected no days. Skipped dessert, so you are on your own there, but I did notice a good selection of expresso coffees that I kinda wish I had stayed a bit longer to enjoy.

    My fiancé and I have been to Italian By Night many times now and it never disappoints. The food, the service, and ambiance is perfect.

    I can’t say enough good things about Italian by night, food, service ,ambiance is exceptional. We were fortunate enough to have reservations for last night being Valentine’s Day, which I booked in advance two or three months ago. As always , we had a great experience. Our server Michael was a great help making last night an exceptional experience. If you only go out once this year to a restaurant you should make Italian night your choice, you won’t be disappointed.

    Best pasta dish I had in a long time. My wife is Veg. So menu offers lots of options for her. Excellent service
