   The veal saltimbocca was skimpy and very dry. Two tiny fatty pieces of veal with dry pieces of prosciutto. No sauce or flavor. The beef scallopini was ok. The side pasta was very good as was the minestrone soup (which was served after the meal). The server said it would be taken off the bill but it wasn’t. The red wine pour was generous but the wine wine was half as much. We were looking forward to a good Italian dinner and we’re disappointed. Maybe just get a pasta dish.

   We had a wonderful time visiting this restaurant on our visit to Aruba. The owner is extremely nice and helped us pick a wine bottle. The food was wonderful and the outdoor seating is amazing to experience the beautiful Aruba weather at night.

   We have walked by this place many times. This year we decided to try it inside. Wow. We were surprised. Its like you are eating in wine cellar. The food is amazing. Its authentic and delicious

   The service was slow, it took about an hour to get our food. And our order was wrong, but quickly fixed. The food was very good, I just think our waitress was overwhelmed. Would recommend still.

   We dine at Italy in the World atleast twice when we visit Aruba. We visit Aruba for 2 weeks and dine here on our first night and our last night. We’re greeted warmly by the owner, welcoming us back to Aruba and his restaurant. Once we decide what we want to eat (we always start off with the Bruschetta, and have enjoyed so many different things and they are always fantastic) we have the perfect bottle of wine selected for us by the owner to go with our meal. We have never been disappointed with the meal, the wine selection or the service. The staff is great!! I can’t say enough - you have to go! Make your reservation early - there’s always a full house! ☺️

   Food was delicious and abundant… but service was not good! The wait staff were very pleasant but did not seem to know what they were doing. Waited quite awhile to order and finally did… they had to come back a couple of times for the wine order just to double check… Pinot Noir right, no Pinot Grigio… then 15-2o minutes later… what was your food order? Then we waited about 30 minutes and my husband got his but not spicy like he ordered so eventually they found him pepper flakes, my chicken parm was huge and delicious but the side of spaghetti never came until I asked 2 more times and by then I was done with the chicken. The restaurant itself is adorable and we enjoyed the overall experience.

    With great excitement and a craving for authentic Italian cuisine, I booked my celebratory birthday dinner for four at Italy to the World. We arrived on time, full of anticipation and oh, what a mistake that was. We waited. And waited. And waited some more. At one point, we debated whether we had accidentally walked into a self-service restaurant. The owner and servers expertly avoided eye contact, heads down as if in deep contemplation, perhaps contemplating on how best to ignore paying customers? Other diners were also left in limbo, some even daring to ask for their food or wine (brave souls). After 30 thrilling minutes, we finally got our water, a diet coke, and a sprite. The wine? Oh, that arrived fashionably late after we had finished our appetizers. Perfect timing, really. And the food? Spectacularly ordinary. Nothing memorable, nothing to rave about—except, of course, for the $230 bill and the mandatory 20% service charge for, well... what service, exactly? As a local on this island, I can confidently say: I will never, ever make this mistake again.
