Itria is a Modern Italian restaurant brought to you by Chef Daniel Evers and Omakase Capital. The name comes from the Syriac word 'itriya,' used by Arab geographer al-ldrisi to describe a type of dried pasta he saw in Sicily during the 12th century. The origins of this term are much older, however, with varying versions of it found in ancient records across the Mediterranean and Middle-East. The name reflects just a small piece of the evolution of Italian cuisine as a confluence of global influences. Our goal is to build on the foundations of classical Italian cooking to create a dining experience that respects tradition without being overly constrained by it.

excellent meal! each dish was balanced and thoughtfully assembled, service was attentive. sometimes you try a new spot, and although you enjoy everything, one dish betrays a slight lack of care that makes you wonder if you got lucky in what you chose from the menu. everything we ate at Itria was so well-prepared that i can hardly wait to come back and try a completely different set of dishes. thank you!

Amazing food & ambience! As well as value and quality! We will return and bring friends to try other items on their menu'! It's located in the heart of the Mission in SF, but when you enter you forget all about it. It's cozy. Clean. And not too noisy. Service was hospitable, friendly and fast! We started with the "chef choice" crudo plate. Delicious and well prepared with sophisticated sauces. Sun dried tomatoes, olive oils, pomegranate, jalapeño, vinegar. Highly recommend. We were with our 2 adult kids, and we ate family style. The salad was simple but was made with so much care and precision. No wilted greens here! It had sunflower seeds and fried garlic for a great crunch along with some Persian cucumbers with a light vinaigrette and mint to finish. Must order! It's Dungeness crab season so we tried their pasta with Meyer lemon and butter dish, slam dunk! The pasta I assume was in house made with how smooth, light and chewy (perfect) it was, the dish had a good amount of crab in the sauce. We ended with sea bass at the end, it was moist, savory with yummy crunchy skin! My favorite! Served on a bed of potatoes with tomatoes that were stewed/ sautéd together, they went together so well! Since all the food was great, we had to get dessert, plus it's my partner's bday, we got the "off menu" tiramisu and their version of Apple galette with Dulce de leche. Not too sweet at all! You can taste the ingredients and enjoy the desserts for how their described:) Literally we cleaned off each plate'! I highly recommend for an amazing Italian food dinner experience! Hats off to the chef and their amazing team! Thank you!

Itria delivers an incredible $95 tasting menu that hits all the right notes! The meal starts with beautifully fresh crudos that highlight quality ingredients, followed by a perfectly crafted pasta course that showcases bold, seasonal flavors. Every dish feels elevated yet approachable, making it a must-visit for any pasta lover. Fantastic value for a tasting menu of this caliber!

Amazing food all around. Special call out for the scallop crudo and the mushroom pasta but everything was delicious. Seemed expensive but perhaps that was down to service charge plus tip on our table. In any case, would definitely go back to try the other things on the menu!

We are from Florida and we fond this restaurant by doing a search online for the top rated Italian restaurants in the Bay area. We selected this one because of the Crudo selection and the option to choose a variety for tasting. This did not disappoint. We selected the Oysters, Scallops and Blue Fin Tuna. The Oysters were creamy and the scallops and tuna were tender, full of flavor and did not disappoint. For dinner we ordered the popular Spaghetti, Cantabria anchovy, caramelized onion butter and Rigatoni, duck sugo, brussels sprouts, parmigiano reggiano. Both plates were cleaned! It was very delicious and memorable. The staff work as a big team and are very attentive - even with having a huge table of 16 to tend to. The folks in he kitchen were gong non stop and put out perfection! You wont be disappointed having a meal here!

Wonderful food and service. A remarkable menu. New take on pasta. We loved the menu options. Staff is outstanding. The hardest chairs I have ever sat in. Had a bit of a back ache the next morning. Just add cushions to the chairs, please. 😁

If I could give them 10 stars for their service, I would. The crew at Itria has completely redefined my expectation of what incredible service should look like. The starters and pasta dishes were unique and very tasty. The ambience is hip but not too loud. Overall an exceptional dining experience. We will definitely be dining at Itria again soon.
