"Welcome to Izakaya Matsuri!"
We offer you freshest Sashimi, Sushi and various chef Specials in Japanese cuisine along with selected Sake, Shochu and wines to complete your meal. Izakaya Matsuri is located in the center of town- on Young St. with lots of free parking for our customers.
(*We do not provide highchairs, or baby seats for children since we are Japanese - Izakaya style restaurant which is mainly for adults.)
* Please, aware that your reservation may be cancelled if you do not confirm your reservation, please cancel your reservation within 12 hours prior to your reservation,
or you will be subject to charge the cancellation fee per person $30.
Do text, or call us to cancel (business cell) 808-745-5858. (The cancellation fee will be automatically charged if it happens after 12 hours prior to your reservation time)
* You will be charged the fee for NO show.($50 per person on your credit card)

    My family and I had the pleasure of dining at Izakaya Matsuri on Valentine's Day. This restaurant is our favorite for Japanese cuisine. The staff is friendly and helpful. The dishes are prepared well and are delicious. Overall, we enjoyed dining at Izakaya Matsuri and will visit again.

    A wonderful experience. We had a great time and will be back. The homemade tofu is excellent. Sake selection was also outstanding.

    This is a small gem on Oahu. Easily one of the best and most authentic Japanese restaurants on the island. This is my third time and meal, service and ambiance was perfect! I look forward to my next time

    The waitress was very helpful. The food was excellent! On each of our visits to Oahu, we always come for dinner at least once.

    We had a wonderful time! Service was excellent and food was delicious. We really enjoyed the amaebi head miso soup, deep fried baby shrimp and the Omakase Chirashi. We will definitely be back for more!

    Food was excellent, our previous experience with the quality of the food always brings us back here to dine. However our service was disappointing: not so friendly waitress (rarity) and feeling rushed to get our food ordered and eaten. It could be that another very large group of people made this small izakaya a little stressed but nevertheless we were disappointed. We were a party of 4 with 2 guests from the mainland and so looked forward to this special dinner.

    The food is all appetizing, especially 5 kinds of Sashimi and chicken karaage are fantastic.
