   Avoid your visit around 3pm. Pathetically slow service (maybe issue at this time) Quick drink order delivery after which we placed food orders. Waiter mentioned it's best to order mains along with starters, and said he will get the starter first. Starter did come without much delay and that's it. Another half an hour and nobody is around. With a 10 month old baby who started loosing patience with the 1.5 hours stretch at the restaurant, had to go and ask the person at the counter about where our food is. Abrupt response was you only ordered starters and not mains (which was not the case and even in those cases, nobody from their team comes and check ???) Within 10-15 minutes he brought our food which was ordered an hour ago (we didn't had to order again, they had the order with them, GOD knows why not served). Found out it was change of shift around this time and new set of folks(except at bar counter). Guy who took our order went for his lunch (yes totally understand, everyone needs to have their food), but without handing over our table to anybody else.

   Eaten here many times over the years but tonight wasn’t great due to the noise level. Great if you’re out to party but it’s a restaurant, not a nightclub. We were two ladies out for a meal and a catch up but it was impossible to have a conversation due to the music volume. We asked several times if it could be turned down. On the positive we do like the food here as it’s always delicious. Service wasn’t great to start and we had to call them to take our drinks order but it was very good after that. It’s our favourite local restaurant but the food is only part of the experience and I think we’ll look at alternatives that have background ambience music rather than the levels you’d expect in a nightclub.

   Lovely restaurant and good service. However they need a separate gluten free menu. I chose my dish which was marked as gf and was just about to eat it when the waiter came over and said that the rice was not gf and removed it. This surprised me as rice is naturally gluten free. My dish was good but needed rice, chips or potatoes of some kind to soak up the sauce. Unfortunately all I was offered was salad or vegetables. I have been to many restaurants with separate gluten free menus and if not , I have always been able to eat rice.

   The experience was good I got seated in a good place and it was very busy. When booking for a table, they said they would try for a quiet corner as i requested. It's a bit crowded and busy. Too many different staff who answered the bookings and names were mixed up as I needed to extend my time our name was not there. Instead, the earlier booking was used because the place was empty I would like to come again with more people Kind Regards Bev Thank you

   This is my first visit to Izgara and I chose it to celebrate my Birthday. I was very pleased with everything that I experienced. The Service, Food, Decor, Welcome, Cost was top notch. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to enjoy a marvellous evening, whether to celebrate a special event or just to go and have a lovely tasty meal. I am going to book again for my husband's upcoming birthday.

   Izgara thank you for making our reunion meal enjoyable, entertaining and memorable. With the majority being vegetarian we couldn’t opt for the meat platter, but there was a broad selection of Veg mezzo and plenty of other options. We had a great meal topped off with dessert. As we were about to go a surprise Turkish tea came out so thank you Izgara.

    Seated in a booth which was comfortable. Nice breads and dips to start. Had the cold starter meze which was nicely presented. The main courses were a huge disappointment. The sea bass was overcooked and dry. Sweet potato fries weren't crispy. The kelftiko was not a proper lamb shank but was a bony joint of lamb with very little meat. The sauce was runny and lacked taste and consisted of one piece of celery (inedible), a piece of carrot and potato. The dish it came in hadn't been heated and therefore the kelftiko was luke warm. The other salmon dish was OK. Overall a hugely disappointing meal.
