   The staff was rude and didn’t care about guests. Hard to believe that they still expect tip after being unfriendly and rude the whole evening!

   We put together a meal of pupus and salads, and each one was a winner! The clam chowder is memorable, and the tiny loaf of bread, likewise. Salad vegetables are super fresh and locally grown. Our server was personable and knowledgeable. Worth a repeat, for sure!

   The foru oof us sat at the bar and were served by Ezekiel. He was an excellent bartender and waiter in one! Great conversation, excellent recommendations. We return every time we are on the Island and bring friends and family. Highly suggest you try it out.

   We have been here many times, and it never disappoints! This was the best meal we had in the 3 weeks we were in the Kona area!

   Good food, outstanding server. Had to wait 15 minutes in spite of 7pm reservation, but once seated drinks and food were prompt. High noise level due to lots of large parties in our section (we were party of 6)

   One of our favourite restaurants in Kailua. We eat here at least once or twice when visiting Kona. Dropped in on a Sunday night 2 weeks previously and had a great experience, quiet window seat and prime rib 👍🏻 Booked for our last night and it was quite different. It was packed on a busy Saturday night, several large and VERY noisy groups. Small table jammed between them. Service was slow, but the waiter was aware and apologetic. Pre dinner drinks took so long to come we didn’t bother with wine. Got our appies and main almost at the same time. It was a weird combination of feeling both ignored and rushed. We shared a dessert and it was comped because of the experience. The food is very good ( though pricey). I would avoid Saturdays in the future. I realize it is out of the restaurants control if they have several large groups dominating the staff, but it makes for a negative experience for everyone else.

    The food is always fantastic here, which is what you are coming for. There is no real view, but it’s about the food presentation.
