   This restaurant had excellent food overall. The triple seafood dish and yellow snapper were delicious. Both had interesting vegetable such as purple mashed potatoes and broccolini. The chef here is clearly talented. Raw seafood such as fish roe are mixed in with some of the dishes so anyone with allergies will want to be careful. Be sure to sit in the part of the restaurant with open windows and a view. The other half is dark and uninteresting. Prices were on the high side with most entrees in the $35-$40 range. One item was over $200.

   Had the best meal all week, service was impeccable and the special was beautiful to look at and incredible to taste. Highly recommend!!

   We had a great dinner -the tuna tartare and pork spring rolls were excellent starters! Stand-out crab cakes and outstanding chocolate torte were also enjoyed by our group. For cocktail drinkers, the mezcal cocktail “Olena Smoke” is a must-have! Our server, who was new the JR’s made our experience even better!

   Only complaint this yr is that they have made their menu more limited then the past. They didn’t have the appetizers and dessert I always order. Oh well spent less money I guess.

   Everything was prepared properly and delicious. Dinner for 3 people with 3 cocktails totaled $204 after $10 discount.

   We had a 7:00pm reservation and arrived on time but had to wait 15 minutes for a table. The hostess was not very friendly and tried to give a table by the front door and kitchen. Finally got a table. We had been here two years ago and it was amazing but they have sold it to a new owner that has changed the menu from seafood to a lot of meat. Cocktails were weak and flavorless. When the bill came they added 3% if you used a credit card. Who doesn’t use a credit card while on vacation? We will not be going back.

   Historically Jackie Rey's always made up for the deficit in ambience by delivering fabulous food and top notch service. Note the past tense. While I cannot fault our server, who did a great job, my meal was not as good as I imagined when the server described the special. When the bill came I became glum. Way too expensive for the overall experience. So sad. I used to love that place. You're still safe with ordering the mac nut ahi tartare appetizer. Still super yummy.
