Jakers Bar and Grill in Pocatello
We officially opened on April 20th in 2017. This location was chosen because of how well-known the brand is in this area and because this was the location of the very first Jake’s.

Although we are the newest Jakers location, we’ve had the best opportunity to learn about Jakers from all of the employees, managers, and owners that made themselves available during the first month we were open. We were delighted to have so much support and we were able to experience the inclusive, friendly culture that Jakers provides for it’s employees.

Banquet area seats 2 separate parties up to 20 on each side – or 40 people in the full banquet area.
We have a beautiful patio that has a spectacular view of the valley.

The dining room is upscale and clean. I had requested a window booth but request was not honored. Water was promptly brought to table but glasses were never refilled the rest of the meal. We had a long wait before the waitress took our order. My wife and I both ordered steak thick cut done medium, caesar salad, baked potato and a glass of cabernet wine. The salad arrive promptly and was fresh and good. When the cabernet arrived it was served cold. Who with any knowledge of wine serves red wine other than room temperature. When the steak finally arrived is was thin cut, maybe half inch thick but not more and well done. The baked potato was hot and good. This was not our first visit to Jakers but it now seems like the Forest Gump quote: "its like a box of chocolates, you never know what you are going to get. I will not be buying gift cards here again this year. For fine dining, Sandpiper is the better value.

I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant! The food was delicious, the service was friendly, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. I’ll definitely be back!

A very nice restaurant. Both salmon entree and filet were quite good. Prepared well and served while hot. Prices were reasonable, and seemed a very good value. An issue with service; we arrived about 12 minutes before our reservation time, the host stated we were early and had to wait to be seated. There were many empty booths and vacant tables. So we waited. Precisely at 6:30 we were seated. The person seating us did apologize for the host’s behavior. Overall, would definitely go again.

I’d seen the adds many times as we would drive through Idaho, so I thought we would try it we we spent the night in Pocatello. The service was excellent and the food was superb. We both had the Idaho trout along with a baked potato. Best trout and potato we have had in ages! The salad was delicious and so were the drinks and the crème brûlée we shared for dessert. As we are looking to re-settle in Pocatello, we will certainly be back many times again.

Jakers was conviently located next to our hotel and recommended by the staff. The setting was warm and the staff of Jakers was friendly and attentive. The menu had a nice variety and lots of vegetarian and glutton free options. I had the Burger which was perfect medium with bacon , avocado, and veggies, my wife had the flat bread and my son the chicken tenders, all of the portions were large and cooked fresh. I would highly recommend giving them a try.

The server was a great guy and did a nice job. The ribeye was ok but the one filet came out cold in the center and the other filet came out not as one piece of meat but almost like two medallions and was more grey than meat looking. Was disappointed overall

First time to this Jakers and was disappointed. The prime rib was tough and not very flavorful which for a $48 entre was unfortunate. The wedge salad was good as were the rolls. There is a Jakers in Idaho Falls that we’ve been to many times and always highly satisfied. This was not the near the same caliber restaurant. It was a nice atmosphere but will try a different place another time when we’re in the area.
