Jam Delish is an independent family-owned Caribbean vegan restaurant and cocktail bar in Angel, Islington. Founded in 2020 by siblings Jordan and Chyna, their idea was one that came purely from their desire to bring their grandparents authentic, traditional Caribbean recipes from their family home to the London food scene, with a fresh and modern take, inspired by their own upbringing in a vegan household. Fusing their love for plant-based food with their Caribbean roots, they identified a niche gap in the market for authentic, Modern Caribbean Vegan Cuisine. With five-star reviews across the board from both customers and food critics alike, the siblings have now opened their first ever flagship restaurant and cocktail bar in the heart of Angel, Islington.

                                                                                  Unfortunately, my experience was not as good as the first time I went to Jam Delish. The bill arrived at our table and we were told that the next booking had arrived. At no time were we informed when the table was required back, and we had booked the 3 course set meal and had not ordered dessert, and the bill charged as for individual items. We were told we were not entitled to the 3 course set meal as we had the special and a snack. I don't expect to tell the waitress what I booked as it should be on their system for the waitress to check. They should ask before the diner orders and explain what is included in the set meal. Not sure if I will go back or recommend. The person who brought the bill was unapologetic. It's a shame.

Had curry “goat” and the sauce that was in it tasted like it eas watered down. Also the rice tasted like it had caught. I wouldn’t expect authentic food if coming here

Overall our experience was awful. Would never recommend anybody to eat at this restaurant. When we left some of the party, had to go and gett something else to eat.

                                                                                  The venue is lovely decorated, and the service was good.- would have liked to see more black staff to represent the genre of food - Staff were good. Food was nicely presented, and tasty - Curry goat flavour was good, but the texture I imagined would have been a collaboration of a soya and jackfruit kind of firm and softer combination but it was more on the firm side, sauce was full of flavour. Food was brought to the table in a timely manner, i observed staff explaining and describing the food to customers, which was good to see and overhear. The food I felt was a bit pricey Overall, I enjoyed the food and would go again.

The vibe inside is just a bit weird and the food was quite bland. They also forgot my side dish which I had to ask twice for. Really disappointing as wanted to go for a couple years now.
