Jam Delish is an independent family-owned Caribbean vegan restaurant and cocktail bar in Angel, Islington. Founded in 2020 by siblings Jordan and Chyna, their idea was one that came purely from their desire to bring their grandparents authentic, traditional Caribbean recipes from their family home to the London food scene, with a fresh and modern take, inspired by their own upbringing in a vegan household. Fusing their love for plant-based food with their Caribbean roots, they identified a niche gap in the market for authentic, Modern Caribbean Vegan Cuisine. With five-star reviews across the board from both customers and food critics alike, the siblings have now opened their first ever flagship restaurant and cocktail bar in the heart of Angel, Islington.

The food taste was excellent. I can highly recommended this restaurant as the food totally different from standard restaurants.

The food was absolutely delicious. I see now why it was ranked one of the best vegan restaurants in London. I plan to go back for sure.

As soon as we walked in there was a nice ambience with sweet reggae music playing softly in the background . We were greeted and seated quickly and the smell of the mouthwatering food made it difficult to choose. We decided to get Trinidadian Doubles, Roti, Curry “Goat”, Fried “Chicken and Mac & Cheese - even though we were stuffed we also managed to squeeze in a Banana Cake. (Not to mention a few Dark n Stormy’s ) All the food was packed with flavour and well presented - drinks were on point too! We will definitely be back to try more things on the menu - think we may have found our new favourite spot!

This has been a favourite of ours for a while but our most recent visit was a bit of a disappointment. Staff weren't as attentive as usual and food was a bit blander than usual. Will try it again though as usually it's excellent, so maybe was just an off night.

We have dined here a few times and the food is always exceptional. Our favourites are the island trio and the curry ‘goat’.

Staff were lovely and accommodating. The food did take a little bit long to arrive from the kitchen, but everything tasted great.

Unfortunately, my experience was not as good as the first time I went to Jam Delish. The bill arrived at our table and we were told that the next booking had arrived. At no time were we informed when the table was required back, and we had booked the 3 course set meal and had not ordered dessert, and the bill charged as for individual items. We were told we were not entitled to the 3 course set meal as we had the special and a snack. I don't expect to tell the waitress what I booked as it should be on their system for the waitress to check. They should ask before the diner orders and explain what is included in the set meal. Not sure if I will go back or recommend. The person who brought the bill was unapologetic. It's a shame.
