By far one of my favorite restaurants. Food is outstanding. We had Annie helping us and she is a doll. So light and fun and kind. Can’t wait to come back again!

celebrating my friends birthday, everything was perfect, I had the chicken milanese and the zucchini appetizer both was soooo good!

Fantastic experience! From the host, to the wonderful waitress Rita to the manager Eric; everyone made us feel not only welcome but special! James & Main remains our favorite restaurant on the south shore LI ! We highly recommend it to all our friends & family.

The food was delicious especially the duroc pork chop. Charming and cozy atmosphere with prompt service and a diverse menu. What more can you ask for?

I had been there before I enjoyed it so much that I brought friends to experience good food good service and good ambience. They were delighted. We had a great time.

Very nice decor and atmosphere. Excellent service. Extensive liquor/wine collection. Menu is eclectic, ranging from reasonable to expensive. Food was over-salted which overpowered flavors.

Love sitting in the outdoor area where it’s a quieter. Service was fantastic and food was delicious. The eggplant and zucchini slices have quickly become a favorite appetizer.
