   The food and service was fabulous, the atmosphere was lacking a little didn’t help we had a noise couple next to us on their phone FaceTiming and calls

   Excellent food and service I tried the special fish and chips with monkfish that they are trialling for the main menu It definitely works with all the extras - crushed peas chunky chips with a curry sauce to dip The curry sauce was amazing

   Nous avons été accueillis par la sommelière, très gentille et passionnée, elle a su nous conseiller des vins nous sortant de notre zone de confort, et s’accordant merveilleusement avec nos plats. Le repas était délicieux, le tomahawk est à tomber. Très très beau souvenir

   Start to finish we had a wonderful dining experience from the thoughtful, airy layout to the the drinks to the food itself. Everything was just perfect. The Marry Me Pie was a terrific selection. I was shocked at the value — we have paid much, much more for less. It didn’t hurt that the restaurant is right next door to the Royal Drury Theater!

   Visited on a Sunday, the restaurant wasn’t busy (approx 30% of tables in use) . Sunday roast was beyond underwhelming. Beef rare and cold and very fatty. Yorkshire pudding so overdone it was crumbling and tasted burnt in places . Only offered still or sparking water and then realised all other tables being topped up with tap water. Waited 15 mins for water. Service very poor. Waited 20 mins for desert only to have it arrive and the waiter proceeded to pour custard over the entire dish without asking. Service charge automatically added for 2 people. Beef dish and service charge removed when paying the bill which was a welcomed gesture, however I definitely wouldn’t want to return. So disappointing.

    Food was bland and not well seasoned. Very surprised given how delicious the recipes are in his cookbooks. Would not return here. Even the salad dressing was not properly seasoned.
