I’ve lived in Nashville for four years now and this was our first time at January. We will absolutely be going back. Service was incredible, everything we tried was very tasty, ambiance was so nice, and at a better price point than you will find in other nice restaurants in Nashville.

Everything we ordered was explained beautifully, delivered in a timely fashion, looked gorgeous and was delicious! Service was impeccable! Definitely a special occasion destination!

The food was reasonably good as it was quite fresh and presented well, although lacked an interesting flavor profile. The crème brûlée was rather sweet and not warmed through. Service was professional and welcoming yet slow. More compelling vegetarian menu options would immensely improve the farm to table experience.

Rarely do I post about poor service. Our particular server was uninterested from the get go. Maybe he was having a bad night. Unfortunately It set the tone for the dinner.

The ambiance is great and South Hall is a gorgeous location. We had a reservation at January for 7:30pm. We arrived early so were invited to sit at the bar and told someone would come get us when our table was ready. The bartenders were fantastic! 7:47pm rolled around and we hadn't been shown to our table yet so went up to the hostess stand and asked about the status of our table. We were told they needed to clear some tables, then we were quickly seated, perhaps forgotten about because there were only 5 occupied tables in the restaurant including us once we were sat. Now for dinner, the parker rolls were fantastic and the greens salad was good too. Our entrees fell flat. Overcooked pork steak and gnocchi. Scallops were good but almost tasted like they were in a Bordelaise sauce which was odd with the remaining flavors of the dish. Service was okay - we were given a drink menu then waited 20 minutes for our server to come back and ask if we wanted a drink. Maybe our expectations were too high, but this was a let down for us. All that to say, we would go back and sit at the bar/tour the grounds any day!

Great experience, very service oriented & knowledgeable about the menu. We received a private tour of the wine cellar!

Fabulous! Best food in the world! Everything is so fresh and impressive flavor combinations. The shirt rib is a must!

This was our first time here and it won’t be the last! I would honestly go back for the Parker House rolls. However, the rest of the meal was delicious. One of our favorite dishes of the evening was the zucchini with burrata. Even my husband loved the dish which is saying something. We had the short ribs which were fall off the bone tender. My only very minor complaint was the pace of the food, but I would prefer it to be slower and relaxed rather than frenetic.

Went to January with with visiting family. What a great experience. The service was amazing. Highly recommend.
