Nikkei is derived from the term nikkeijin
(日系人) in Japanese, used to refer to Japanese people who emigrated from Japan and their descendants. Nikkei cuisine is the fusion of Peruvian ingredients and the simplicity and precision of Japanese culinary techniques creating a perfect harmony between the two cultures.

A little pricy but still worth it. The shrimp empanadas were sooo good. Definitely recommend.

Amazing food, great staff. The flavors of everything we ate were so well balanced. This is food made with care. I’d recommend in a heartbeat. If you’ve not been here you are missing out!!

Incredibly unique flavors and really tasty dishes. The rolls were filling to boot - we were stuffed. The prices are fantastic too! A great place for a night out or to bring people who are here visiting.

I can not attest to quality of food, service, or atmosphere. But I booked a reservation here on open table for my wife’s birthday on a Tuesday night. To my surprise and my wife’s dismay when we arrived the restaurant was closed. It said clearly on the door that they were closed every Tuesday. I’m not sure if this is the restaurants fault or the fault of open table but I am putting this review on here in hopes that someone might see it and have the same extremely disappointing experience that we did earlier this week.

Had meant to come here for a while, and really glad we did. Great food, friendly staff... in some ways the little hiccups during the meal actually made it feel more real. Leaned into the Peruvian side of the menu, with chaufa and pollo soltado, but the gyoza we started with were stellar. We'll be back!

First time coming here, I heard a lot of good things and decided to try it. We went on Valentine’s Day so I was hoping it would be a good experience but was let down. First the food came cold and the calamari was very very chewy like hard to swallow. The fried rice was bland honestly felt like it was cooked earlier in the day. We ordered a sushi which was honestly mid. We order sushi and 2 main dishes that were honestly beyond subpar, honestly the best part was the fries lol. All this came out to 105 dollars with service charge and tip. I honestly give this place 4.8/10. Will be back to try again and see if maybe it was just that day.

Honestly been here a few times before everything was always amazing! But this time was for my mother’s birthday and it was phenomenal. We all had a great time and the restaurant is quiet and low-key. You can actually talk to each other. 10 STARS from me!
