We don't take ourselves too seriously at Jax Fish House. Two things we do take seriously? The freshness and sustainability of our seafood. You know fresh fish when you see, smell, and taste it-and thanks to modern delivery technology, we bring in that freshy-fresh seven days a week. Sustainability is a little more complicated. Not all commercial fisheries are created equal. That's why we work closely with our suppliers and science-based organizations to ensure that every single thing we serve is responsibly sourced. We consider the stocks of the species we source to prevent overfishing and we work with suppliers who harvest in ways that have minimal impacts on marine environments.

    The Crab Cake is absolutely perfect! We sat near the kitchen so it was a bit busy, but it was fun seeing all the good looking food come out.

    I enjoyed this place so much. I was there the night before and had to come back one more time because the atmosphere was so great. The service is awesome and you cannot beat the quality of the food.

    Oysters were fishy tasting and extremely small. Mussells were very chewy. Not our usual good experience at Jax.

    Celebrated my birthday at Glendale Jax after not eating there for a very long time. Every item we ordered was delicious from the wedge salad to the complimentary chocolate coconut cake dessert. Outstanding items were the confit octopus appetizer, the charbroiled oysters and the scallops. the bacon cornbread was a great side. Service was attentive and excellent. We appreciated the birthday greeting on the table cloth and the birthday gift of free shrimp on a return visit. We sat in the back room which, on the positive side, was roomier than the more crowed bar. Only quibble is that the room was quite cold and we had to wear outerwear for comfort. It could also use a decor upgrade. I would be remiss not to mention the vodka martini with mussel-stuffed olives. It was hard to stick to just one! We found the menu to be a bit too expensive to make this a frequent go-to spot, but we understand and will definitely return for special occasions or happy hour.

    The staff had our preferred table waiting for us. Cody was our waiter, and was very attentive. We split our meal, which was done in the kitchen for us. It was very tasty. Service was quick, and we finished with a desert, which was excellent.

    I loved dinner at Jax! The restaurant is very nice- modern and trendy. Our server was wonderful- friendly and showed up just the right amount. Not in your face, and not scarce. My scallops were pricey, but deeeeljcious!
