Jaya signifie « victoire » en sanskrit, et le nom a été choisi par l'équipe de l'hôtel The Setai en l'honneur de son célèbre décorateur d'intérieur, Jaya Ibrahim, et de ses dix ans de succès à offrir une hospitalité d'inspiration asiatique. I had been so excited to come visit this restaurant for so long and I was so disappointed. I had called before hand to make sure I would be able to see the show and they told me it was till 11pm on weekends. When I arrive for my reservation it was already 10, and they told me there was no more shows. Very misleading because I would have never came in the first place, if there was no show going on. The lady in the front desk was extremely rude and stuck up for no reason. The server was nice, and his assistant was very sweet as well. The food was nothing more than mid, but you would expect that from a high class restaurant.

Had a great time at the Setai! Great date night spot, servers were very kind. Overall enjoyed the experience and would recommend it.

Ambiance is like being on a big dining room on a cruise ship, so don’t think you’re going to an elegant and trendy place. Additionally, you feel rushed at all times by the service staff. The strategy here is turn tables fast. Food quality definitely mediocre and grossly overpriced. I will not be returning and DO NOT recommend this place to anyone.
