Jaya signifie « victoire » en sanskrit, et le nom a été choisi par l'équipe de l'hôtel The Setai en l'honneur de son célèbre décorateur d'intérieur, Jaya Ibrahim, et de ses dix ans de succès à offrir une hospitalité d'inspiration asiatique. My wife and I celebrated our 15th anniversary at Jaya and have a mixed review. The good Ambiance was very nice, cool indoor outdoor space with good music and the shows every half hour were very well done. Our server was very attentive and checked on us multiple times without intruding and always had topped off drinks. The bad Hostess was rude, very short and not accommodating. Our table was stuck behind the DJ booth, so the shows while great, we had to leave our seats to see any of them. Our food was only ok for the money. First of all our food came out really fast, like too fast and therefore knew this is not necessarily fresh and made to order. Ordered the tuna crispy rice, miso burrata, and salmon panang curry. The crispy rice was not fresh and pre made and meh, miso burrata was my favorite and took a very unique spin on a dish I enjoy. And the curry itself in our salmon dish was delish, but again came out really quickly and could tell the fish had been pre made and disappointing for a $36 meal. Overall was a nice evening out, but wont ever return

The ambiance was phenomenal, definitely a perfect setting for date night. The service was outstanding, all of our needs were met before we could even ask which I enjoyed. The food selection leaned more so to sea food options and wasn’t exactly seasoned to my liking. But overall it was a great experience!

I am a regular customer of the Setai and mostly go there for business meeting. Sunday I attended the brunch and it was very unfortunate to book a table for a jazz brunch and then hearing that a table outside in the patio was a 1 hour wait! And then being seated inside where the only thing you hear is people screaming. Not a note of the jazz. Paying the price to be outside yes, but being inside NO. Stop overbooking your tables at the same time slot!

The buffet itself is expansive and has a wide range of delicious food. The meat and fish to-order was great! We were disappointed because we were seated inside where the Jazz Band could not be heard at all. We booked this experience specifically for the Jazz Band as there are plenty of bottomless brunch options in Miami of similar caliber that are less expensive (Catch, etc.) In addition, the service was sub-par. We most likely will not be returning to Setai for brunch and will opt for other experiences.

The only disappointment I had was that I booked 3 weeks in advance & requested to be seated by the water to have a good view of the show but when I went I was seated inside far away from the water & the show. Besides that everything was perfect! The valet, the food, & the ambiance was a 10/10! I highly recommend.
