    I proposed to my soon to be wife at JB Hooks and have dined every Valentine's Day there for the last 12 yrs. She has been greeted with a single rose each year. They always have a Valentine dinner special or order off the menu. Either way, you both recieve a glass of champaine and desert. Your surrounded by windows over looking Lake of the Ozarks and even at night, you have the lights dancing off the off, which makes it even more special. The owner, checks in with each table to make sure your experience is a good one. He doesn't linger but will certainly hold a conversation with you, like you are a VIP.

    This was a fabulous night! The valentines special was delicious. The ambience was very nice. We will definitely be back.

    Valentines Day, was the right amount of people in our section, not over crowded, quiet and calm. Over looking the Lake. Was a great experience.

    Best place on the Lake to have a nice dinner. Had the Filet and it was great. You have to try the Amaretto Carrots. So delicious. Our server Justin W. was wonderful. Very attentive.
