Jeffrey's Restaurant & Bar has been an Austin fine dining institution since 1975. In 2012 the restaurant closed for a major renovation and was reopened by McGuire Moorman Lambert Hospitality. The legendary restaurant, nestled in the Clarksville neighborhood just west of downtown, features a lively bar and three distinct dining rooms. The menus, from executive chef Mark McCain, features dry-aged prime steaks, updated classic fine dining, and locally sourced produce. The award-winning wine list, one of the largest and most diverse in Texas, features highly-sought after vintages from Old and New World producers. Private dining in the Napoleon Room and The Apartment is available for special events. Valet service is offered.

The charming neighborhood location, old world service & multiple private dining options make Jeffrey's a true Austin gem. Jeffrey's was named “Top 10 Best New Restaurants” in the country by Bon Appetit magazine in 2013.

These folks do you up right! Natalie was our server, Cole our Sommelier & even Austin popped by for a visit - who recommended our wines during pur last visitm Attention to detail rings hard here. Professional restauranteers all the way around. We'll be back - of course - our Son has a birthday later this month. Thanks Jeffrey's crew!!

My husband and I celebrated our anniversary here with friends and we loved it! The service is impeccable, and the food is not only delicious but presented beautifully. I absolutely loved the Brussels sprouts and the snapper. I highly recommend Jeffrey’s to anyone looking to enjoy a fancy night out.

Food was ok, steak was not worth $100. I’ve had steaks worth half the cost and it was tastier.

The food was excellent. The beverages were equally well-prepared. The noise level was high and prevented carrying out conversations, across the table. And the men’s table beside us was over-served and permitted to be much too vulgar. The service was friendly and skilled, but we were rushed a bit.

Outstanding food and service. We were in a quiet room, although the main room seemed like it would have been too loud. Pricey, but worth it.
