   My girlfriend and I after a long week of work decided to go on a date here. I made the reservation at 5:30 and we were looking forward to drinks and dinner. We ordered food, which took a bit but was overall good. Our server was great, and we were having a great time. Toward the end of our meal, we had another server come up to us and tell us that “at 6:45 we have an event and they’re gonna need this table.” I said: what time is it? And she said it’s 6:30 and so I asked can we just move somewhere else? And she said “no, you’re gonna have to leave.” And so within 15 minutes we had to walk out of the building. Our server came up shortly after and asked “made room for dessert?” And though we were planning to have dessert and another drink, I said “I don’t think we have time for dessert unfortunately.” To which our server literally told us if we wanted another drink and to go somewhere “normal”, to go to ANOTHER business next door. We were not informed when we walked in that there was an event occurring at 6:45. We were told literally 15 minutes before that we had to get out. There was a group next to us who did the 3 cocktails and 3 small bites special. They got 1 of their combinations and were told they also had to leave. They had to basically beg to get their 2nd course, and who knows if they even got their 3rd course. It ruined the entire night for me and my girlfriend and put a real sour taste in our mouths. My girlfriend and I hung around the area for an hour more to see if someone was coming into the restaurant. We were next door, where our server recommended us to go, until 7:45, and no one came in. So why they kicked us out? I couldn’t tell you. We saw the manager walking around outside waiting for somebody for 1hr+. And no one came in by the time we left. So who knows why we had to leave at 6:45, if no one was even inside by 7:45. So if you want to spend your hard earned money here just know they’ll kick you out if a better opportunity presents itself.

   Our second time coming and absolutely amazing!!!! Drinks and food are so fun to explore and Alyx is amazing! Definitely a once a month visit for us!

   Very disappointed. We had a 10:30 reservation and were not seated until 10:45 because the previous party was there and exceeded their time limit. We were placed at the bar and were told we had to wait longer because of the previous guests.I thus asked if the 1hour and 30 minute experience rule on the reservation still applied. We were eventually seated at a table and given menus. Server came over and asked what we wanted to order like it was a burden. No menu overview. We were hoping to get a better understanding of the cocktail list and asked. No reply. No water refill and we got two rounds of cocktails. The server was ALYX. Rude and terrible. A bartender finally came over and gave us a better understanding of the menu. He was great. Had two cocktails each and then asked for our check. We were mischarged for a drink as they were out of the items to make love locker. When I asked for the check I gave Alyx the card right away since we wanted to get out. I have never had a waiter cheer when given a card . They forgot to remove from the check the love letter drink so we asked for the adjustment. This was at 11:45pm. We waited 40 minutes for a waiter to adjust the bill before we could leave. Very sad as we traveled from Cleveland to experience this cocktail bar. To top it off it was my friends 40th birthday. We were also patrons of the restaurant next Ro with a total spend between the two bars of roughly $350 . Just not the high end experience we were excited about having .

   My food was exceptional, but the service was absolutely terrible. All of my food came out before my salad  and nobody bothered to apologize or say anything they acted like I was the one that had a problem with all of my sushi came out before my salad

   It’s a Speakeasy through the bagel place Sesame and it’s a completely different darker vibe! The decor and color’s are rich and dark which create that amazing Speakeasy feel and ambiance. The cocktails are well curated and each story that goes with them in the menu tells a tale. The cocktails are different, and yet exactly how they’re described. I really enjoyed my side by side of March’s Lost Cocktails, they complimented each other well. The Clover Club was strong and refreshing, while the Midnight Society was creamy and tasted like drinking the fruity pebbles cereal. My only thing would be they’re kinda pricey all around for the drinks and small foods. I would go again though for special occasions and continue to try new drinks though.

   Jekyll is absolutely one of our favorite places to go to whether it’s for a date night with just the boyfriend and I or going out with a group of friends. Every drink we have had is absolutely been amazing as well as the wait staff also !!! we also recently learned that you can order food next-door from Ro and have it sent right over and let me just say the food was amazing as well. If you want something sweet, then I would recommend their crème brûlée. It’s probably the best I’ve ever had. So if you have ever thought about going to this little hidden speakeasy, what are you waiting for ?? Just go and you’ll fall in love yourself.

   The person that checks you in at the bagel shop should really stick to the bagel order and not just blatantly say “are you checking in?”… ruined the whole surprise for our friends we brought.

    Best Experience I have had at any speakeasy! Food and drinks are amazing! Staff is friendly, professional and knowledgeable about a variety of spirits.
