   The vibe is good. But the food tastes doesn’t match the price. Kind of too salty for me. Have to say the fish cake doesn’t fit the fine dining menu.

   A fall from grace. We used to love jeong and it was one of our favourite restaurants in Chicago but this time it was really disappointing which I hope was a one time thing. We won’t be returning any time soon. It is a couple of weeks since we ate there and I mainly remember the bad courses which says something. Starter was an unexciting shrimp dish. Another not so great course was a very earthy sorbet / granola which seemed more like a breakfast dish. In general, dishes lacked the depth of flavor we have come to expect here. Furthermore, the vibe has changed considerably. It was packed with glitzy Christmas ornaments and servers were all wearing brightly colored aprons. No problem with this but it is very different from the quiet, sophisticated and almost verging on austere vibe that jeong used to have.

   Jeong was a phenomenal experience from start to finish. The service was warm and welcoming and the food was outstanding. I would highly recommend Jeong for any special occasion!

   We had a wonderful meal at Jeong. The staff was incredibly attentive and kind towards us. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough!

   I was celebrating my daughter's 24th birthday. From start to finish the service was impeccable. My daughter is a pescatarian and loves korean food which is one reason I choose this restaurant. Although being a prefixed menu, they were very accommodating in offer alternate no meat plates. The drinks were very good. The staff was very attentive through out the evening. Overall, was a very satisfying evening. Would highly recommend.

   The experience at Jeong was phenomenal! Dave, Jenn and their team were exceptional. From the warm welcome to the last dish, it was truly magical. The courses were meticulously planned and executed. The kkaetnip korean dessert was mind blowing!

    We had the most wonderful experience at Jeong. The gentleman that seated us and the woman who took care of our drinks were beyond professional and friendly. We felt like the only ones there, although they were all caring for other tables. The food was incredible. Every dish perfectly executed in flavor, texture, and presentation. It’s hard to pick a favorite dish because we enjoyed all of them! The standouts were the Wagyu, scallop, and Eomuk, and even writing this I’m wanting to list all the dishes. Definitely order the Gochujang drink; it’s delicious!
