Borrowing its name from an influential 1850s-vintage bar in the Central Business District, this pub-like tavern (with courtyard) occupies an old brick Creole cottage in the French Quarter, where well-known local bartender Chris Hannah serves up cocktails both classic and contemporary. We really enjoyed our dinner at Jewel. There were 4 of us that tried several things on the menu to share. Most portions were fairly small but we knew that going in. Everything we ate was well prepared and enjoyed by everyone at the table. Our waiter was great and took good care of us. Would definitely go back again in the future.

Food is amazing, 2nd time to go, and service is always so friendly and good. Aside from being amazing food it is different. I love traditional French formal dining but you can get that more places. This is not your average food and always things I have never heard of or rarely get at fine dining

Best food we had in New Orleans! Well balanced, great taste and for once (which is very rare in the US apparently), normal portion size instead of those xxxxl portions you get over here. As always a little bit expensive, but definitely worth a visit!
