   630 rez and wasn’t seated until after 7p. Very apologetic and even gave free appetizers which was appreciated. Was sat in a very small room with a table of 15 and two other tables of four. Everytime someone moved they bumped my chair. The large table was extremely loud. It was not pleasant. However the waiter was very good and the food was outstanding. They were attentive to how it was t great and received $45 off off dinner but at this price point should have been better experience.

   Our anniversary dinner was phenomenal. I cannot recommend this place enough. I made a special request for napkins in the shape of a turtle and duck and Amber had researched videos and made this request happen perfectly! That extra touch meant so much to us. The chairs are comfortable, the staff are superb, and the food melted in our mouths. We tried the bone marrow, crab cake, wedge salad, wagyu beef, cowboy steak, filet mignon, kate’s potatoes, Mac’ n’ cheese, asparagus, apple strudel for dessert and a couple high quality alcoholic pours and cocktails. Certainly a splurge, but worth every penny! The environment is warm and classy, without being too pretentious. It’s evident that the staff care about their work and want customers to be happy. We were there for 2.5 hours going through the different courses and drinks, so plan accordingly. Parking was located close by, and they offered valet parking also. They packed up our leftovers smartly. We will definitely return for another special occasion! Jimmy Kelley’s made our anniversary special and an experience we’ll never forget.

   The new decor at Jimmy Kelly's is superb and in keeping with the history of Jimmy Kelly's, a long-standing Nashville institution ~It also has a new menu and pricing. Our server was Jeff, who was perfect in every way and most accommodating. Top stars for him! Jimmy, a server we have had in the past and who is terrific as well, stopped by our table to say hello. The manager came by and sincerely wanted to know how things were. My steak was cooked exactly as ordered, and the quality of the steak was great. The crab cake my husband ordered wasn't great, although they do have other seafood offerings we did not try, and I did express to the manager my concern that the corncakes, for which they are renowned, were not the same as the original. They have been altering the recipe during the past two-three years, but last night was a completely different corncake. However, it is beautiful, with a sweet caring staff and a brand new bar in the former tented area of the restaurant, and I highly suggest it!

   Marcus took excellent care of us- we had oysters, wedge salad, NY strip & ribeye with baked potato & onion rings. The chimichuri sauce is amazing, freshly made and perfect with the ribeye. Glasses of malbec topped off the dinner.

    This was the third year in a row that we dined at Jimmy Kelly’s for our Anniversary and it was splendid! All of the food was delicious. We are SO GLAD you brought back the onion rings to the menu! They were so tasty. I also tried the Creamed Corn Brûlée for the first time and it was excellent as well! My wife and I both ordered the Kelly’s Apple Sangria and it is one of the best cocktails I have ever had! Superb! Scott was our server and he did a wonderful job taking care of us! Bravo, JK’s! Already looking forward to our next time!
