   We booked a reservation online about 30 minutes before arriving, but when we got there, we were told we’d have to wait at least another 30 minutes because it was made too recently. If you can’t accommodate last-minute reservations, consider disabling them. We did decide to wait and finally got seated. We were a large table of 13 but even so it took a very long time for service. Waters didn’t come out until at least 10 minutes after we were seated and the food took forever. We spent at least two hours at the table. And when it came to the food, most was decent, but non-seafood items were overcooked but with the amount of time it was taking we didn’t bother to send it back. What was strange is that there were plenty of empty tables and also dirty tables that just stayed that way. This was a terrible experience. I would never recommend this restaurant to anyone!

   Appetizers of Crab dip and Great Balls of Fire were good; however Calamari and Shrimp from Platter were overcooked. The manager did modify the bill and offer us more food.

   Combo appetizer was good, the Boil was great! Service was chill…like either really tired or just a super chill dude. Thanks for being open for Christmas

   My family had a really good experience going here on Christmas. The wait was not too long considering the holiday and our server was absolutely amazing. Even though the kitchen was backed up our server did a fantastic job checking up on us periodically. The food was well worth the wait. For our first time at Joe’s we were very pleased and will be returning.

   had a christmas reservation for 6 people at 6pm. we arrive early and it was packed. we had to wait 30 min for our table (which was too small to accommodate our party but they had no other options). they said they had 600 reservations that day, seems like they should have capped it because it was very disorganized and over capacity and we had a long wait for food and drinks. food was okay, alcoholic drinks were extremely watered down. not a great experience overall.

    Great food, super service especially considering it was Christmas Day. Yea, it was crowded but they were fully staffed with a full (almost) menu. There were a couple of dishes they were sold out on but they'd been open all day, so it wasn't surprising. Started with the Oysters Rockefeller which were excellent. I had the Broiled Seafood Platter which was a really nice mixture of dishes from lobster to stuffed crab (which was incredible)! My partner had Joe's Top Sirloin with an added lobster tail and thoroughly enjoyed the entire meal. Oh, and I was able to get a couple of bottles of Heineken 0.0 which can be hard to find (alcohol-free beer). We'll definitely being going back the next time we're in Jacksonville Beach!!
